    Morning all

A hearty welcome to those joining us for the challenge :)

I'm just gearing myself up to walk 4 miles now, if I set off at 10, I should be back by 11.30.. Unless of course I get swayed by the charity shops again :o

Breakfast: fruit and fibre, glass of water
Lunch: haven't decided.. Might be crackers or breadsticks with a dip
    Dinner: chick pea/potato curry
    Snacks: fruit

    Good luck to everyone :)

Oh daisiegg, that sounds horrendous. :( Big hugs to you.

    My day today:

B - the equivalent of one and a bit slices of HM malty bread (the loaf has started crumbling when I stick a knife in it so I ended up with bits rather than the slices :() with HM plum and ginger jam
L - pot of grain and veg salad; some sort of fruit (I've run out so will have to buy some at lunchtime)
D - tuna pasta bake, using some of my HG tomatoes which have finally started ripening
Back after a very long break!

I was chuckling reading through the thread at you all talking about how 'it goes on slowly so it will come off slowly' - mine doesn't go on slowly, it piles on at the speed of a race car! I only wish it would come off as fast!

Something to cheer you up on a Monday morning daisiegg :)

I tried walking for an hour yesterday to see if I could do it yet, then did too many jobs that meant I was on my feet, like windows and ironing and shopping...won't be doing much today, my leg is aching something awful!

Am getting fed up having to think about every single thing I eat, but determined to keep going :)

Food for the day should be:
B - cereal with strawberries, tea
    L - hm vegetable soup
D - rissoles made with leftover roast pork, piles of veg

    !

Oops, already gone off plan :o

Lunch ended up being the soup, but there was less left than I thought there was, so I had a small slice of cold roast pork (which to be completely honest, was just nibbled out of the fridge) and two slices rye bread. The slices of bread are tiny - about 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches and very thin slices.

Dinner will be different too. Don't have as much leftover pork as I thought (someone else put the leftovers away last night) so not enough to make rissoles. Instead I will cook the tiny amount of pork (there really is less than one portion) in gravy with sliced onion and sliced apple, and add a couple of bacon wrapped chipolatas that I found lurking in the freezer. Will have this with mashed parsnip and carrot, and then loads of green veg.

I have had 3 cups of tea today and won't have any more.

    Lots of water.

No exercise - no time :( I just spent over three hours planning ONE lesson, that I may or may not be observed in :( Still have loads to go, plus marking. Argh.
