Change of plan - went out to lunch with a friend. I had a goats cheese, roasted red pepper and courgette sandwich with lots of salad and tap water.
I did walk two miles today so I'm hoping I haven't done too badly. Feeling quite full from lunch so I'll probably have a slice of toast tonight.OS Weight Loss Challenge... 3.5/100 -
Sue14...I don't know what kind of work you do..but why do you have a "naughty cupboard"?
I'm assuming your workmates aren't trying to lose weight then?
Feeling chuffed with myself today...I have walked 4 miles. Okay, it's not quite as good as it sounds, I split it in two...in the afternoon and evening, and I had a wee sit down in the plumbers in the afternoon, but in total it was 4 miles.
I'm quite stiff and sore now, but when I think that this time last year I couldn't walk to the end of the street, it gives me hope that the pain in my back will continue to lessen, and one day I'll be able to do 4 miles without a break like I used to
officeguru...don't work too hard in the garden while your back's sore, you don't want it getting any worse!

I'm in customer services at the local council, and the 'naughty cupboard' is where we put the biscuits that are brought in when it is someone's birthday. In there at the moment there is half a pack of biscuits that I took in for my birthday in August, and a large box of shortbread (my favourite) that was brought in by one of the other girls last week. I have to admit that once I was on my own today I did have 1 shortbread biscuit (76 cals), but only because the box had been opened as I wouldn't have opened the box myself.
As for the others, they all would like to lose some weight and they've been quite impressed with how much I've lost, but apart from 1 who has been doing WW, they haven't yet got motivated to really get into weight loss seriously.
Well apart from the shortbread I've done really well today.
B porridge with semi skimmed milk and a teaspoon of honey
L 2 scrambled eggs on a slice of toast
D oxtail soup with 2 slices of bread
S 138g red grapes, 1 shortbread biscuit, 1 pack of special k moments biscuits, 62g strawberries with 85g natural yogurt
E 30 mins walking and 25 mins of ironingWeight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Sue14...you and your workmates aren't exactly scoffing the biscuits if they're still there from August :rotfl:
I think I'd be tempted quite a lot! I cope with biscuits at home by buying ones I'm not bothered about, and never buying my favourites (no Jaffa cakes in this house)
Bit stiff and sore this morning, think I'll just catch up on housework today...and hoping to have a walk with friend later, looks like it might stay dry.

Hello,
I have been trawling the boards to find the right place to post this...I am hoping this one is ok, if not, please advise! I previously tracked weight loss in the weight loss for wedding thread, but as my wedding is over I need somewhere new!
Here is my story...I had never really worried about weight until I found my wedding dress. I was determined to look good in it...therefore between Christmas 2011 and my wedding in August 2012, I managed to get myself down from about 10 1/2 stone to 9 stone 6 pounds through an improved diet and regular exercise.
My first year of marriage has been mad...work has been busy, I have been studying and I have trained for and run a full marathon and a half marathon. During training I have eaten whatever I have wanted, as I figured I deserved it because I have been burning so many calories!! However, my eating has really gotten out of hand! My exercise regime has consisted of mainly running (which I am certain that my body has become so used to, that it no longer helps with weight loss!) As a result I have put on around 19 pounds.
I completed the half marathon on Sunday there, and am now keen to get started with losing some weight again...and aim to lose around 14 pounds between now and Christmas as I feel that this is a realistic goal.
I intend to do it by eating well and doing regular exercise. I intend to do 3/4 classes a week in my gym (a mixture of body attack, body pump, body combat and body balance). I intend to weigh myself once a week.
I intend to keep a food diary. So I am starting today...
B: Muesli
L: Smoked salmon and cucumber sandwich, banana, apple and low fat yogurtSausage and brocolli pasta bake
Snacks: cereal bar, perhaps some nuts??
Would love any tips/advice/encouragement! HELP!!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):

Feeling really
at the moment - I got my lightbox out this morning (I suffer from seasonal depression) so will hopefully perk up once I start using it regularly - I always leave it too late every year.
Today is / will be:
B - two slices of HM seed bread with hummous (a strange thing to have for breakfast but I just fancied it!)
L - HM tomato, lentil and bacon soup with something (bread roll? crispbread?); apple
D - prawn and veg curry with a WW mini naan bread (not something I'd usually buy but they were on SO at 49p for 6, which seemed pretty good to me!)
LisaJane - welcome to the thread!
OG - I hope you and your new moggy are very happy together.Back after a very long break!0 -

! HELP!!
Hi LisaJane *waves* good luck with everything - I did exactly what you did about two years ago (loved combat, balance and pump sooooo much!) and lost about three stone in six months. Due to illness I put it back on again but you will definitely see results, especially if they are ones you really enjoy! (and you burn frustration too especially with combat and attack) post on here as much as you can and make sure you vary your meals where poss and don't get bored. I have so many herbs and spices its unreal, so that even grilled salmon and veg can be completely different every time
Knitwitch can you put me down for 10lbs, I've lost a lot in the last couple of weeks but think I will now plateau (if past experiences are anything to go by!) and also the next 12 weeks include four Chr***mas meals (and thats without the actual day!), my birthday, OH birthday, best mates birthday, two beer festivals, and a camp... so it's going to be tough to get to 10 but got to stay positive!!!
Good luck everyone xDebt Free by 2015: £5839.01/£13000 1% challenge = 44.91%CAMRA Member: Drinking Ale doesn't make me any less of a woman :beer:0 -
Welcome LisaJane
Wishing yoy a long and loving relationship with your new mog OG
Sorry to hear you're not so good CCP, hope the lightbox makes a positive difference soon
B - F&F, ss milk, ff yogurt
Dinner - will be late, friend arriving about 2.30pm, then chilli and sweet jackets. Now I'm copying you N2BT, but yesterday was just a trial run to make sure the chilli wasn't too hot/mild
Supper - if wanted prob crackerbread with rf cheese/salami
Snacks - satsuma. Grapes, I must stop buying them, I keep them inthe fridge so they're out of sight but it's amazing how many times I need to go to the fridge in a day
E - 1x10 mins, downstairs all cleaned, garden weeded & tidied, front & back doorsteps & mats cleaned, bread made
Have a happy rest of the day0 -
Good afternoon all
Welcome to the thread LisaJane, I've only been here a few days and it's really helped me! Everyone is so supportive and brilliant.
Had a very late breakfast today (MUST stay sleeping early) at 11AM - two slices of HM bread, toasted with butter and jam and a cup of tea.
I've just had a banana for lunch.
We're roasting paprika chicken for tonight, we'll serve it with either mash or roasties, sweetcorn and gravy. It's very similar to the meal we had a couple of days ago but my brother insisted.. I might have veg curry with plain rice instead.
Haven't done any exercise yet, I'm going for a brisk walk in a short while.OS Weight Loss Challenge... 3.5/100 -
Thank you for all the lovely welcomes! I need to be honest otherwise this is going to be pointless! I had some chocolates that have been lurking in the office with a cup of coffee there. I had to get petrol earlier and picked up a sneaky packet of scampi fries...so naughty!! Ahhhhh! OH will have dinner ready for me coming home from work, so hopefully there will be no more snacks tonight!Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
