    1. I would like to be able to do up my coat with the zip rather than stratigic buttoning by Halloween.

I was so pleased to be able to do that last week with my fleece jacket. We were in town and it was cold and then started raining, so I pulled my jacket around me, then I thought 'I wonder if it will do up?' and when I tried it the zip did right up to the top, for the first time in ages! It's still snug around my boobs but I don't mind that, lol!

Daisiegg and everyone - I am starting to take sign ups for the next challenge from tomorrow, the last weigh in for the current challenge is next weekend (the new challenge starts a week tomorrow but I know people weigh in right over the weekend so you can get the final scores on the doors on the 30th )

Edit to say - the next one runs for 12 weeks (and then I give you a fortnight off for Yule/Christmas and New Year/Hogmanay!!)

As I've mostly managed to lose 1lb a week so far, I'm going to go for 12 lbs for the next challenge.

On Wednesday I decided to walk to the post office instead of taking the car, and according to my heart rate monitor, I burned 237 calories in the hour that it took me to walk there and back. Apart from that I've not done too well with exercise this week, but I have managed to stay under my calorie goal on most days, and have lost another 1lb this week!

Well done to all the losers and STS.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Hi Mrs KW
On your last list I thimk that you may have deducted 2lb from my total for this challenge. You have me down as losing 1lb out of 7 but I think it should be 3lb.
Can you put me down for the next challenge please I'd like to try for 10lbs

Oops! Sorry I had you right on the spreadsheet - just forgot to transfer it to the list!

Knit Witch, thank you for doing this again and I hope you've hung onto some of your old dragon ways. I think I'll need the odd roasting to keep me on track!!

No roasting but sharp prodding with knitting needles instead! :rotfl:

  • Morning all. Well start of the new 12 week round of losing some of the accumulated luggage I have been carting around on my bones for the past 10 years or more:):)
!2 weeks at a minimum of a lb a week seems to be reasonable and I know my diet Nurse will be a happy bunny as well as myself
So this morning as its a little nippy I am going for

B: porridge made with water and a small sprinkle of salt.
This is how I have always had my porridge .my Mum always made it like this and the thought of putting sugar or even worse syrup on it makes me think bleugh

L: will be HM carrot and coriander soup and some crackerbreads with low fat cream cheese and tomato and sliced cucumber

D: will be at DDs as usual.Today its leg of lamb and piles of green veg and two roast potato's

as its Sunday my one treat of the week is my sunday morning pot of coffee with my eldest DD we do sin on a Sunday and have it with a little low fat cream. But as its my only sin of the week there is nothing like sinning on a Sunday :):):)
This afternoon I will go with youngest DD and we will walk the dogs around the local country park for some excercise.
    Onwards and upwards chum

    Hi Knit witch

can you put me down for 12lbs please? - as I'm just starting that's hopefully achievable, I'll weigh on friday and see where I'm starting at, and try and be good until then.
