Doesn't weigh in day come round quickly?
I have a 1 lb loss today
(hmph! it was 2 lbs off yesterday, and I was very good all day so it would stay off...well that didn't work lol...and my scales battery was flat, the new battery is much stricter and added a pound on!)
I have NO idea what I'll eat today, that can be dangerous...
must go shopping
Good luck everyone
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Hi all
Congrats Ellie - although my scales do that (but then I am awful at checking myself far more regularly than I should... oops)
[A] if you find a way to change your name let me know - I'd love to change mine just in case anyone I know is lurking! Enjoy your research ;p
After a weekend of spoiling myself, I weighed myself Monday to see what damage I had done (I know I shouldn't but keeps me motivated if I then lose it) and had put on an unsurprising 3lbs. However, it seems that I was really really good the rest of the week as I have now gone down 3.75 lbs since Monday so for a week I was expecting to maintain (determined not to put on) I actually lost -0.75weird amount but it all counts
Have upped my calories on MFP as 1200 just wasn't sustainable, so am now on 1400 a day and struggling to meet it which is much better. I'm less tired and not getting the urge to nibble so much in the evening, and I still lost which is the main thing. Gives me room to manouvre as well once I plateau (which will no doubt happen in about 3-4 weeks!)

Morning all.
I'm going to start making my weigh-in day Saturday rather than Friday, if that's OK, as for some reason I seem to weigh more on Friday than on any other day (I weigh myself daily as my weight can fluctuate over about 5 or 6 pounds during the course of a week - no idea why).
Today goes:
B - two thinnish slices of HM seed bread with HM plum and ginger jam (my last jar of HM jam - I must make some more)
L - dunno, will have to buy something - probably a sandwich and fruit
D - spicy chicken and roast veg salad, followed by the last of the fresh mango and the last of the coconut ice cream
[A] - welcome in - it's a friendly sort of place.
sachatith - I think you joined while I was on holiday so I haven't said hello until now. :hello: I see from your signature that we have a shared interest - I'm not a member of CAMRA but I do enjoy a nice pint of proper beer. :beer:Back after a very long break!0 -
Morning all
. A 1/2lb loss this week, not sure why as I thought I'd been better than that! But 1/2 off is better than 1/2lb on so mustn't complain
JackieO congrats on the amazing loss, well done you
B - F&F, ss milk, ff yogurt
L - egg salad in WW wm
D - bacon, tomato, mushroom omelette, aka breakfast omelette here
S - melon, celery
E - 1x10 mins done, later have to do the kitchen floor, hands and knees job and it's a BIG kitchen
Happy Friday0 -

Yey! It is my major downfall with weight gain though, as my best mate and I tend to go down the pub on a Friday night if we're not volunteering (and I just don't have the heart to turn him down!) and then there's the beer festivals.... hehe gotta love a decent pint thoughDebt Free by 2015: £5839.01/£13000 1% challenge = 44.91%CAMRA Member: Drinking Ale doesn't make me any less of a woman :beer:0 -
+1lb this week
I was sts until yesterday but there you go. I'm wondering if I've reached "my weight" or if I'm just being slack and need to try harder. I'm heavier than I should be but much lighter than I was and I'd rather stay at this weight forever than risk giving up altogether and putting some back on. Hmm, will just keep plodding along I think.
Well done to losers and sts-ers0 -
Hi everyone.
Its a 1lb loss for me this week.:j:j:j I'm not going to reach my target this challenge unless I lose 4lbs this week which seems a bit unlikely. I'm not to bothered though as I'm still going down even if its slowly.
My SiL is having a McMillan coffee morning next week and she asked me to make some scones for it and as I hadn't made scones for years I had to make a practise batch this morning and of course I'll need to try one (or two) out later. Oops!0 -
Hello All
Well first full week at ww and although I have not followed completely, I have been more aware of portion size which is my biggest hurdle, the best thing is that its a 4 mile walk round trip so is forcing me to do exercise each week as the traffic is too bad to get there in time by car:rotfl::rotfl:
So am reporting in with a 3.5 loss

Well done JackieO:T
I had also lost my motivation, but am now planning small goals to take me up to Christmas.
1. I would like to be able to do up my coat with the zip rather than stratigic buttoning by Halloween;)
2. I would like to be able to buy myself a new skirt at least a size smaller by my birthday/ wedding anni (20th Nov)
3. I would wear a dress and feel good in it for Christmas (never wear dresses as I like to hide under baggy tops)
Small goal that are big achievments to me'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Is it time for the new challenge yet?0
