Morning all
I hope everyone had a great weekend. I've managed to stick to my healthy eating plan so I feel quite pleased.
I'm struggling with exercise so I've decided to add in 3 10-minute sessions every day rather than lots in one go. I hope that works!OS Weight Loss Challenge... 3.5/100 -
My plan for today:
B - one and a half slices of HM malty bread (half a slice because I can't cut straight!) with HM plum and ginger jam
L - HM tomato, lentil and bacon soup; mini pack of mini cheese biscuits; apple
D - HM beefburger (bulked out with grated courgette and carrot) in a roll with mixed salad and possibly a few oven-baked onion rings if I'm feeling peckish
Have a good day, all.Back after a very long break!0 -

Hi Folks
I’ve been a bit lazy not posting my daily menu and also a bit naughty. During my cupboard clearing/cleaning mission I came across a sad and lonely jar of 0valtine, nobody loved it and it was constantly being overlooked so in an effort to get my money’s worth out of it I did a bit of baking. Although I have frozen most of it….of course I had to have a taste and the cake (supposedly a war-time recipe, no eggs or butter – low fat???? I hope) was very tasty the 0valtine & chocolate brownies – not so low fat but were delicious .
Although the weather has been great this summer/autumn after what we got last winter I’m determined to be prepared and have something on my feet that is suitable for clumping around in several inches of snow and have warm feet. So I’ve ordered myself some sheepskin boots. In order to have the money available when the cc bill comes in I will be eating out of the freezer/store-cupboard for a bit – managed to draw up a 3wk plan with what I have :T.
So today it’s been:-
B – Yoghurt, raspberries, honey
L – Sardines on toast, orange
D – Kidney bean falafel, hm tomato sauce, herby couscous – first time I’ve tried falafel (girl called Jack recipe) and I was pleasantly surprised how tasty they were.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £113.010 -
Hi guys, can I please join your new challenge
A few years ago I lost 3st with this thread. 1 1/2 stone has gone back on in a blur of holidays, red wine and general indulgence.
I have slipped in and out of the thread over the last year or two but now I really need to do it! I start a new job on Monday so no excuses - new start, new me!- prior planning prevents poor performance!

Hi All
That's me back !!! We had a great time but I'm getting too old for all these long haul flights....
I woke up late this morning and got most of the washing done... It's amazing how that's the first thing we do when we get back from holiday... It's not as if I am going to be needing any of the clothes 'til next year...
Anyway, I stepped on the scales and I have lost 3 lbs... Not bad going but I've got to watch that I don't put it back on before Friday...
Well, my eyes keep going together so I am off upstairs...
Take care all and sleep well ....0 -

Hi everyone
Time for me to step up a gear and start posting my daily menu.
Brunch: two slices of toast with a cup of tea
Dinner: grilled chicken with mash, peas and gravy.
Snacks: fruit
Also: water, one glass of mango juice.
My achey muscles are testament to the fact that I've also started exercising. :rotfl:
This thread is great for keeping me motivated - thank you all :TOS Weight Loss Challenge... 3.5/100
