After my loss last week, I went down another 1lb on Sunday, and stayed the same for most of the week, then I went over my calorie goal on Thursday (after staying under my calorie goal every other day), and lost another 1lb! So that's 2lbs lost this week! :j
I have mostly been really good this week (even resisting the ginormous craving for a mars bar that I had:)), but I must admit i've been a bit naughty today and have gone over my allowance.:o On Sunday, OH and I walked up to the cemetery with some flowers for my mum, and pruned the bush that had started growing across her stone, then on Wednesday I walked round to my dad's instead of driving (half hour walk each way), my feet were sore by the time I got home, lol!
I had a great NSV at work on Wednesday. As I may have mentioned previously, I used to almost die halfway up when I walked up the stairs, and would have to rest until I got my breath back. Well, I had to go upstairs twice, and both times I used the stairs to go up and down, even RUNNING all the way up the second time, and I was barely breathing any heavier than usual! :jWeight loss challenge 2/10lbs

Weighed in this morning and am surprised to report -2.5lb loss this week. I say I'm surprised but I've done lots of exercise and have been very good food-wise. I haven't indulged too much at all so that shows.
Went for a walk this evening, about 5 miles in total but stopped off for fish & chips on the way home so not really ideal. Never mind I'm off on a long bike ride tomorrow so that should burn some off as well.
The last couple of ponds are always the hardest so I'll really have to focus and I have a week off work the week after next so that could either be great - lots of exercise and fresh air - or awful - eating out and generally indulging. We'll have to see how that one goes.Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90

Hello all
In case anyone forgot where I went and what I was doing, I just returned yesterday afternoon from my holibobs. Was absolutely gorgeous where I went, the little isle of Menorca to be precise.
Got a bit of a shock when we got to the reception desk on our first day, DM swears blind she booked half board with the travel agent, but the lady at reception told us we were all inclusive and wouldnt hear anything further of it! :rotfl:
So we had three meals a day, all free, and as many drinkies as we liked, also free. Weird thing was - we didnt take advantage of it like you might think. DM was on tablets and I got a sore throat at the beginning of the week + Mother Nature paid me a visit so I ended up on painkiller meds!! So we had a lot of soft drinks and hot coffee, tea etc. I think I'm getting ancient - I was even sitting on the balcony in our room one night with a beach towel over my legs, all I needed was my rocking chair :rotfl:
Anyhoo, dont know what else to say about it! I might have pictures of the coastline if anyones interested?
Oh and I thought I'd put on a half stone or more, the way I was eating (heck if I wasnt going to take advantage of the free hotel noms!) - but have just weighed this morning and have only put on 4lbs so pretty happy with that.
[Ms KW I think I might have to do what daisie is doing, and take a break from this challenge now. My weight is all over the place and will be until early Oct, so I think I'd like to be removed, but still post.]
off to read back through all what I missed, there is certainly a lot of it!
eta: i completely forgot to mention. I wore a SKIRT on holiday. For the first time in years lol.0 -
3 miles a day already :T I think we have a new walking addict
You have inspired me back Tiffany Aching...I have gone out to walk this week and thought "I can't go far, it hurts too much", but then I've thought "I've encouraged TA to keep walking, I'll just go a bit further"
I'm only managing about 2 miles, and having to wear a back support, but it's better than nothing.
.
You look after yourself and don't push yourself too far, it sounds like you must have a lot of pain in your back. Saying that, well done for getting out walking againI wouldn't go as far as to say I'm addicted to walking,(Me? Enjoy anything involved with getting up and moving? Does not sound like me! lol!) but I am addicted to the feeling of getting that little bit further than I did the day before - the sense of achievement is soooo good!
We drove over to Kings Lynne last night and had a short walk along the river then sat and watched the sun set. As a habit, I now turn on the walking app I have on my phone and I was so suprised to find that I had walked over two miles without even noticing - no huffing and puffing. I really can't get over how quickly you can start to see the improvement in your fitness.
On the way home we were so hungry and made an unplanned stop at McDs. I was as good as I could be food wise and ordered a veggie wrap with no mayo or chilli sauce. Probably not the best place to grab some food but it was nice:D
Well done to everyone who either lost or stayed the same this week. Could you put me down as a -1lb this week please, knit witch? ThanksJan NSD 4/15

Well a good day yesterday, and in the afternoon my DD arrived with her two dogs so we went for a walk down to the Country Park and walked along the River Medway it was a beautiful afternoon and we did around two miles .I don't walk fast as I have to use a stick but taking it carefully and stopping for a rest when I needed to we did well. Its flat along the shore so although I didn't get out of puff I did enjoy our stroll.Making the most of the late summer weather while we can.I think we may go to Shorne Country park this afternoon with the dogs.It does my DD good as well as she likes to get out in the fresh air when she can after being in the office all week.Today I am going to have
B : Scrambled eggs
L : HM chunky vegetable soup that I made yesterday
D : Roast Chicken and the trimmings at DDs
This morning my eldest DD arrives for coffee and cake ,well coffee is fine but no cake on the menu All of my cake tins are empty along with my biscuit boxes Temptation is out of the way.But she can have some fruit if she's peckish She too is trying to lose some of her summer holiday weight so she won't mind
Well done chums we are winning the battle slow but sure

Hi All
Well this is my last post until I come back on the 23/24th Sept.. Well done to everyone who has lost weight or stayed the same...
I've packed my suitcase and I am going to start the other one this afternoon... I spread everything across the 2 cases just in case one goes missing... If both go missing, I have extra knickers in my carry-on bag...
Well, I had to switch on the wii this morning so that his master could weigh the finished case... As you know, he eats permanently.... grazes all the time... well, he stood on the wii and yes, you have guessed it.... he has lost 5 lbs since last time.... It just makes you sick....:( He has just finished pouring some coco pops into his hand and is off into the garden munching them...
I've packed all my medicines and my cuppa soups, while he dines in style in the Seychelles... and I bet he still loses weight !!!!
So, that's me .... take care everyone....:A0
