You're probably right sparrer! I was just having a moan
Cotton mainly to make a quillow, and some poly cotton to make iPad cushion also got some PVC table covering but got my measurements wrong for my table 4inchs too short boo :-(. I have actually just ordered a beginners crochet kit from this lovely lady that just started this cute kids one that has little teddy and instructions and yarn to make little hat, scarf and blanket for it that I've got for my niece. http://www.facebook.com/uniquepatchwork here are the pics of fabric and kit, if link works? Do you do yours as a hobby or to sell?
Would love to decorate but we rent and they are a little funny about it, looking at wallpapering my side unit that got free recently to give some life :-)
Love the kit ajt85. I just make things for myself and for gifts. I also make hats and scarves for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal. http://www.operationchristmaschild.org.uk/[/QUOTE]
I used to do this with my school every year might look at doing it again this year.
Can't wait to get the kit delivered even though not for me, as ordered myself her adult starter kit ;-) will get told off as i have a habit of having about 10 projects on the go at once!
Currently have a big display cabinet to wallpaper for my dining room, 4 soft toys to add finishing touches to, 3 quilts to make and then I have a craft fair in NOvember that I need to make some more bits for! Started off as me making newborn gifts for all my friends and turned into somthing more, though not really much time with my two little ones still about. Though from tomorrow eldest starts primary school and youngest at nursery every morning! Hoping that will mean that I can get some proper exercise routine in place, little ones climb on me or want to play along when around, and find enthusiasm/willpower disappears after their bedtime.
I've fallen off the wagon if you will as last couple of days have been a little stressed and caved when it came to snacking and then last night with chocolate, hoping if I'm really good can at least try for a lb this week....
I feel your pain with OH being able to eat what ever, mine Is 6ft and has nothing to him!he considers the not even half inch not of muscle on his tummy as him being bad, he eats nothing good at his office, mac ds two min away from his office so someone reg makes the trip, then drivers offer him things as well as his snack drawer he will then come home eat dinner and more often than not have a bowl of sugar topped cereal at 1030 pm!! I would love to swap metabolism with him if only for long enough to get required weight off as seem to manage to sustain just not getting it off!0 -

Weighed in this morning as I'm away to Hayling Island for the weekend at silly o'clock tomorrow - why do all my breaks start at a ridiculous hour?! Anyway, pleased to report I've lost the lb I put on last week, plus another 1/2, so 1 1/2lb loss this week. And I'm wearing size 12 chinos ! Had to lie on the bed to do them up and there's a wee builders belly but a baggy tee is covering all sorts of sins

Morning All – well done Sparrer, enjoy your trip.
Well that’s my two weeks of cat-sitting duties over – his mum must have let him out in the early hours of the morning when she got home – and as a “thank you” he brought me a live mouse around 7.00am :eek:. Bless….poor old chap must be a bit confused as he is now sitting in my kitchen waiting for me to take him home to get his breakfast, which has been our routine for the last two weeks.
Although I don’t have a large freezer I was beginning to lose track of what I had in there, so took some time yesterday to do an inventory and surprised myself with the selection I have. So menu has been re-jigged and I’m determined not to buy anything other than fresh f&v until I’ve used most of it and challenge myself to as many NSD’s as possible. I’ve got loads of soup that needs using so that will be lunches till used or I get bored.
Didn’t get a chance to post yesterday, other than a couple of glasses of wine, stuck pretty well to the plan

I popped into the Drs surgery this morning and have arranged to see the practice nurse as our surgery do a weight loss plan for overweight ladies(and men )I shall see her on 18th September and it will be interesting to see how much of my unsightly chunks have gone I know what I weighed when I saw my consultant before my holiday so I know its slowly going but surgery scales are probably better than mine so I wil abide by their readings.
Had a good walk around the village this morning and walked to the library and back (I would normally have driven) So I am happy with how things are progressing.0 -
Nervous about my first weigh in day. Although have been very very very good and haven't weighed myself which is a first for me.
Made me some prawn and chorizo paella last night which was scrum and has done me enough for tonight, tomorrow and then lunch saturday. Have had a tummy problem for last three weeks and we suspected might be dairy (Dad is dairy intolerant). Today was my first day without and this afternoon is literally the first time I have been hungry in days, and the pain, although there, is minimal. So going to try it for the next couple of days then deliberately eat some and see what happens!
Today:
B- Porridge with water
L - salad
D - Paella
S - Breadsticks and HM salsa
Good luck for everyone tomorrow xDebt Free by 2015: £5839.01/£13000 1% challenge = 44.91%CAMRA Member: Drinking Ale doesn't make me any less of a woman :beer:0
