    Evening All

I shan't be posting for a few days after today as we are going away for a few days on a mini cruise (very mini as it's only 2 nights aboard and a day in Amsterdam). We have booked meals on the boat so I no doubt will be eating rather a lot so it's a good job I shall miss my weigh in on Friday!

    B: Poached egg on toast
L: HM celery soup and a slice of HM bread
D: Lambs liver with spinach and mushrooms. 1/2 Eccles cake
    Snacks: 1/2 butterfly bun. 2 Cadbury's fudges

    Exercise: 4 miles of walking.

Sorry you weren't well, but sadly most of your weight loss is likely to be water, so unless you intend to go thirsty for the rest of your life it's likely to go straight back on as soon as you have a few cups of tea or whatever!

I know, it's sad isn't it, hence the ROFLMAO smily. I have no doubt I've already put it back on - it was quite dramatic though, about 4lb! First time I've been 16st since DS2 was born. :rotfl:

  • I'm amazed by how little some people eat - I keep having to recheck my calorie intake as I'm sure I'm doing something wrong!

Did do a bit bad tonight, I had a busy work day which meant that I didn't get much to eat, I was over 600 calories down when I got home at 9.30pm - I can't bear eating after about 8pm I have no appetite at all....soooooo I broke my no midweek alcohol rule and drank a small bottle of beer to make up some calories :rotfl: It was lovely and now I don't feel at all hard done by! I'm not quite sure it's the right way to go about weight loss though!

    Welcome newbies :)
Rose Wood have a super time, I love the mini cruises - been to santander a few times - but have never done Amsterdam before, sounds like a fun place to go :D

Don't really know what to say about today except it was yet another (food) disaster
    B - F&F, sk milk
L - out with DD for her b/day. Had half a burger, half the bun, a few chips and the salad. Brought the rest of the meat home for the dog, there was almost as much as he eats for dinner!
D - nothing, fell alseep when I got home, woke up at 7pm and had to dash as I had to be out by 7.30pm
Snacks - a few grapes, banana. Just going to have some fresh pineapple
    Excerise - none :o
The past day or so it's gone all wrong after breakfast so I know this week is going to be disappointing. Wish people would stop having birthdays etc!

No plans for the next three days so perhaps I can pull myself back on the track.

    Stay safe'n'warm :)

Thanks for the welcome. I will look in low GI foods MD.
I haven't been well today, so have only had a couple of poached eggs on dry wholemeal toast, a cup of complan and then half a tub of 0% fat Greek yoghurt with a little pureed apple on top. A very odd combination, but I'm not hungry so am going to bed now-early for me. I couldn't do any exercise today as my arthritis is really bad and I'm so sore. As Scarlet O hara said-tomorrow is another day!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!

    Morning all :)
Ended up not making planned dinner last night as I was late in from work and didn't have time to get the pizza dough ready before I went to pilates, so we'll have pizza tonight instead.

Our last minute substitute dinner was pasta, pesto, meatballs and roasted peppers from a jar, with rf cheese on top. yum! :p It felt much more unhealthy than the pizza, but when I worked out the calories it was lower, so that was a bonus!

The roasted peppers are from Tesco - Cooks & co brand, and they're really nice, very flavourful but as they're in water/vinegar rather than oil they have very few calories. I use them in loads of things.

    Today:
    Breakfast: activia yoghurt, grapes
    Lunch: ham sandwich, apple, satsumas
    Dinner: HM pizzas

    Exercise: swimming (45 mins)

    Froglet due March 2016 :D

Thought I'd never survive the day after I arrived at work to find my cottage cheese and salad lunch was missing one vital ingredient; the crackers that were meant to be with it. But oddly I didn't feel anymore hungry for not having had them, unfortunately I made up for it with a low fat blueberry muffin when I got home from work.

Must be getting near weigh in time as I am feeling horribly fat and bloated this evening, despite weighing myself this morning and being the lowest I have been for a long time. Whatever happens tomorrow I will not beat myself up, because it won't be for lack of trying.

    B. Muesli and greek yoghurt
    L. Cottage cheese, salad and a banana
    D. Ham & tomato omelette with a few wedges
Snacks: 5 dried apricots, a nectarine and a small muffin

    Start January 2017: $268,012
    Latest balance $266,734
    Reduction: $1,278.45

So much for drawing the line...
I have not managed any exercise for over a week and have eaten a mountain of food... I am blaming the weather and general time of year for my total lack of motivation. However I WILL go swimming tonight and I will aim for 50 lengths minimum. I used to do at least 75 twice a week but I got lazy, I pay a membership for it so I really should use it, it's just a 25 minute drive each way that puts me off more than the swim itself, which I usually love.

Just need to put down the cupcakes and hot chocolates... I weighed this morning and I am seriously hoping that changes by tomorrow!

Welcome MortmainDreamer, VGstar44 and SuziQ and SpotdogKez it's good to see you back.

I'd give a motivational welcome speech but I rather feel inadequate for the role at the moment...

Breakfast - 2 blueberry cupcakes, 2 slice of peanut butter on toast and an apple.
Lunch will be chicken and veg soup
Dinner will be bolognese, I try to have less pasta and more veg.
Snacks will be apples... I hope...
