    Anyone else had this problem?

Apart from my useless back and a grumpy tummy, I'm always well...I can go for years without catching a cold, it's so long since I was sick I can't remember when it was, I don't catch the bugs that go round...

so why is it that in the last 3 weeks or so, when I've been making an extra effort to eat well and making better choices, have I had one minor ailment after another?
I look tired and run-down, although that could be partly because I've started waking in the night again, after dreaming about a situation from my past (and I shouldn't be, because it's past!)...and once I'm awake, I start coughing and can't get back to sleep  I've been up since 4am.

With all the salady stuff I've been eating, I should be leaping around full of energy, not feeling worse than normal

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
  • My day alone went well, at least until the evening, when I got fed up being on my own and indulged :o

    B - weetabix

L - turkey wrap and nectarine

T - stuffed peppers (lamb, onion, mushroom, bulgar), I planned to have 2 but it was so filling I just had 1

E - found 1/2 a picnic in my fridge (I LOVE cold picnics) but it had been in there opened for around a month, so it tasted a bit......meh......but I still ate it!!

And then later I had 2 thin (very thin) slices of black forest gateau.......very thin so they would defrost quicker and I could them as soon as possible!!

    ;)

So, a bad day for someone supposedly on a diet.......but a brilliant day for ME, who would normally eat my way through the day with crisps and toast and ice-creams etc.

    :D

Good Morning all :o just back from my holidays yesterday.I daren't stand on the scales as I know we all ate far too much, but hey it was holidaytime and not reality so its back to 'normal 'life again.
I shall be writing everything down from now on that I am devouring and have got to lose this small house thats sitting wobbling around on my rear end :):)Last night I had an omelette for dinner so thats not too bad
Today so far I haven't eaten at all as I have been far too busy catching up on the washing. But lunch will be I think some soup and crackers with maybe an apple to follow.Dinner I have at Dds and I shall make sure that lots of veg (but only one roastie) will be on my plate
    Onwards and upwards chums

    Afternoon all.

Well, despite a rather bad day yesterday (I ended up with some lovely, oozy melted cheese on my baked squash, and had a couple of extra glasses of wine as well :o) the scales this morning tell me that the extra half pound has gone, and has taken another pound and a half with it. I'm not going to try to understand, and just keep my fingers crossed that it will stay gone by next Friday.

Brunch - two thick slices of HM seed bread with three slices of Parma ham; portion of grapes
Dinner - Spanish baked chicken (from the Hairy Dieters book) followed by the last of the pineapple, with a couple of glasses of wine because I don't have to go to work tomorrow and it seems a shame to waste it now the bottle's open. ;)
Back after a very long break!
