A bad day pain wise for me last Friday/Saturday and so, in the space of 24 hours, the 4 pounds I had struggled to lose were back and staying
blimming medication
Must use my stash up!0 -
Weighed in this morning and I've gained 1/2lb.
I know I had a couple of evenings this week where I over-ate at dinner so I wasn't expecting a huge loss, but the gain has come as a surprise.
Hey ho.
Brunch - two slices HM seed bread, warm from the breadmaker, with butter and peanut butter; bunch of grapes
Dinner - half a butternut squash stuffed with chilli con carne (made with lots of veg and only half a pack of LF beef mince); fresh pineapple with a small amount of coconut ice cream. Plus a couple of glasses of wine.
daisiegg - I've just been reading the horrible news about the fires in Yosemite national park, so I'm glad you've moved on and are now safely out of their way.Back after a very long break!0 -
Mmmmmm.......pineapple and coconut icecream sounds wonderful!!
Do you mind me asking if it was homemade icecream or bought? I havent seen any for sale locally, thank you!Weighed in this morning and I've gained 1/2lb.I know I had a couple of evenings this week where I over-ate at dinner so I wasn't expecting a huge loss, but the gain has come as a surprise.

a small amount of coconut ice cream.
Love ice cream, have had a craving for it for weeks but I shop on my way to meetings etc., to save petrol so it won't keep til I get home. It has to be good for me to go without - dammit!
B - F&F, ss milk
L - 2 finger rolls with grilled bacon
D - Duck wraps, shrimp noodles
S - Melon, carrot batons
E - Bathroom. Sleep day, drained after yesterday. So frustrating when I want to do things but don't have the energy
Have a good rest of the day whatever the weather where you are0 -

It's a bought one - I've never tried making my own ice cream. It's a Waitrose one - coconut and lime - I bought it several weeks ago when it was on SO and have managed to leave it sitting in the freezer untouched all this time. :A Then I found a pack of pineapple RTC yesterday and the two sound like they'll be so nice together that my resistance has finally broken.
I've just added a small handful of HG alpine strawberries to my day's intake, because what else could I do with them once I'd picked them?Back after a very long break!0 -
Afternoon - 2lb loss this week
That's the one I put on last week and another one. Please please please let it stay off. It seems so random. I didn't eat any better or worse this week than last so it make it very hard to know where I'm going wrong or right.
I just have to look back over the last year and realise I'm still gradually going down so that's all I can ask for.

How frustrating Knit Witch
I have sinned a bit tonight, and have an overfull tummy as punishment
I had a long drive home this afternoon, and the angel on my left shoulder and the devil on my right argued all the way about whether I should get takeaway pizza for tea! Guess who won
Well, I was coming home to an empty house, and it's cheaper to get takeaway when I'm on my own! It was only a six inch one, but I got chips as well...that's everything confessed to now, I shall do better tomorrow.
Also had a lovely evening with DS2 and GF, they have a lovely new puppy, who is getting up the courage to explore my house!
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

Stop encouraging that little devil :rotfl:
At least I think about it now, before I would get the takeaway without a second thought...now I consider it, and hum and haw a bit...then still buy it :rotfl:
Puppy is a black Labrador, a bit of a coward, but decided tonight that my house (and my biscuits and slippers) was a safe place to explore
