Yesterday was nice and I had my tea cooked for me, which was extra nice!
B - bran flakes
L - seeded wrap (from Waitrose, gorgeous and def worth higher calorie count than white flacid ones) with lean ham
S - fresh pineapple and strawberries
T - roast lamb (fat removed), 3 small roasties (ate 2.5), swede, carrot, runner beans and hubbys home made onion gravy with red wine he found LO in the fridge. I am not a fan of gravy and dont usually bother, but it WAS delicious!
I was planning on having a whippy ice cream yesterday, but someone had forgotten to switch the machine on at Costco....
Fate???
DGS (3 1/2) here from 6.45am today so might well be ice cream day today instead!!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Morning all.
It looks like I'll be doing my weigh-in tomorrow as I'm having one of those blips today when the scales indicate I've gained best part of 5 pounds in the last 24 hours, which I'm not sure is even possibly! I'll have another look tomorrow in the hope the scales feel like being more reasonable.
B- two small wholemeal rolls with a scraping of butter and peanut butter (very naughty, but so nice!)
L - salad box from the local sandwich shop, probably with some of their delicious home-cooked ham, with two rye crispbreads; pot of rhubarb yoghurt
S - small bunch of grapes
D - HM cheese and cherry tomato pizza - I'll make a wholemeal base and grate the cheese so it goes further
fozzie - enjoy your ice cream!
Back after a very long break!0 -

Good Morning x
Very upsey downsey at the moment. I had a huge gain of 5 lbs on Wednesday night after two days in hospital. I had a large dose of iv steroids and they make me retain water. My legs were so tight. Anyway after a huge wee, the next morning I was back down 4.5 lbs so feeling much better. I know that this happens but it still upsets me. The perils of sneaky weigh ins - the scales can be your enemy in this respect. Im gonna have a concerted effort this week as I have a count down to the 1st September and my hospital stay:(
Good luck and keep on plodding xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Hi Knitwitch
Sorry I can't declare my weight this week as when I stepped on the wii, it recorded and 9 lb gain...:eek::eek: Now I know that if I had ate the bar of toblerone and a couple of pots of hagen daz ice-cream and the odd fish supper that could be correct, but the toblerone is still there, there's still ice-cream in the fridge and I haven't sleepwalked 5 miles to the nearest chip shop so the wii is wonky... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Actually, when I switched it on, it went black and I had to switch it off at the plug as it wouldn't respond to any of the controls... so I don't know if that could cause it to be funny.... If anything, I would say I have sts but I think I might have to get myself another set of scales...
Sorry about that...0 -
Morning everyone! Well done to all the losers!
Molly41 hope you feel better soon.
0.5lbs loss for me this morning
Had a small wholemeal roll with a mashed banana on for breakfast. Haven't really planned for the rest of the day, but I have a large pan of lamb stew in the fridge which needs using up so might have some of that for lunch.
I am just watching the Weight loss programme which was on BBC2 the other night - the one about the slimming clubs. It is reinforcing with me how Slimming clubs are not for me and that posh woman is REALLY getting on my nerves - she reckons she's fat because she likes fois gras - What a t*t.
Hope you are all having a good day!Jane
