Sneaky weigh-in has me up a pound up today....proper weigh-in day is Weds, but I am an obessive weigher
Yesterday was:-
B - lovely, long awaited, lie-in, so no brekkie
L - LO HM chicken stroganoff and tagliatelle
S - last 1/3 of a teeny Graze flapjack
T - Ham wrap, bag of wotsits (used to have a packet everyday, but these were my 1st in a week)
S - black forest gateau
500ml milk for teas
1395 calories, so on target for me, but think I am going to have to try and aim for 1200 if I actually want to lose more weight
And of course just THINKING that, makes me want to go and stuff my face!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Morning all.
How come when you're really stressed, you let everything go to pot and then wake up on a Monday and go "right...this week, this is it, its coming off".....or maybe thats just me? :rotfl:
Kid's shows now over, back to a normal evening shift for 2 weeks now, and then off on holibobs on the 31st. Unfortunately I dont think I'll be slim enough as I wanted to be this year (again!), my sneaky weigh in this morning showed me at a slight gain
I am still trying to work out how I got down to a lighter weight before I went to New York because since I got back I have really been struggling to lose it! But I cant pinpoint anything right now.
Anyhoo, today as follows:
b - 2 small wm slices toast with 25g cheese.
s - grapes
l - 2 hardboiled eggs, 5 x crackerbread with spread
s - dont know yet if I'll want a little something before I start work.
d - h/m pea/sweetcorn pilau with 1 x diced ww sausage.0 -

D - TBC - it was meant to be pasta with kale and blue cheese but I think that might make today a bit carb-heavy, so I'll see what else is on my meal plan that I can swap it with when I get home this evening
Dinner became a large mixed salad with scampi - very :A. Less :A was the whole garlic flatbread I had with it - I think my meal must have ended up around a thousand calories which is obviously far too much but it was so nice I can't quite bring myself to feel guilty. I'll be really good for the rest of the week to make up for it, honest!Back after a very long break!0 -
Hi All
Sorry that I won't have time for the next few days... I've got surprise visitors from abroad and I am enjoying having company. Anyway, my sister also came to me to meet them and we had a fabulous time.... Although none of us is fluent in each other's language, we are having a laugh.. I am also enjoying cooking for them.
But best of all, my sister said that I was looking really good and that I hadn't half shed a lot of weight. Which was really lovely to hear. My son also came and persuaded me to go a walk with him and the kids and you would never believe it... He said that I had walked at least 4 miles.. This is someone who is pretty much 85% housebound.. so as you can see, things have been looking up for me.
Here's hoping it carries on for the rest of the week :beer:0 -
Eep, I dont know whats happened...the scale and the tape measure arent showing me as any different....but when I put on my work skirt this afternoon it didnt fit properly!
It kind of slid down a bit further than it normally does, I had to get DM to help me pin it to one side! Cant understand why its doing that if I havent lost any lbs or inches....any idea?!
Still, not complaining. LOL.0 -
Healthy meals for today:
B - muesli and yoghurt
L - rye crispbreads with crab pate (having learnt my lesson from yesterday I've put the pate in a separate tub rather than spreading it on the crispbreads as they'd become soggybreads by lunchtime!); radishes and cucumber sticks; portion of cherries
D- small portion of pasta with kale, caramelised onions and blue cheese
I'll be going out with friends tonight but may well stick to soft drinks - the pub does my favourite brand of ginger beer, which is always nice.Back after a very long break!0 -
Well after a disastrous end to the week (takeouts, yes more than one :-( and chocolate) I ended up on Saturday night weighting more than starting point so pulled the proverbial sleeves up, made meal plan for the next two weeks and did the shopping!
Seems to have paid off already with sneaky weigh in this morning showing -4lb since the upsetting scales reading from Saturday!
I have not been starving myself but have cut the bad stuff, no more DH grabbing me chocolate from shop on his way home, and better portion control and reducing carbs as I have a tendency to eat a lot! Rather a big pasta fan!
Sunday - B-F&F 125ml Ssm, L- ham slices from butcher (works out much cheaper than sm and tastes a whole lot better) D- Roast chicken, with hm lf mayo potato salad, carrots, green beans from garden and sugar snap peas (bargin at sm for only 45p love end of day shopping for bargains!) snacks riviera crisp read with scraping of hazelnut spread, needed a little chocolate fix :-)
Yesterday- F&F, ham, mandarin, rosemary Conley recipe Thai green curry w basmati rice using leftover chicken. MFP put recipe at 580cal pp portion inc rice and filled the hole nicely.
Tonight were have vegetable pie with couscous topping another rosemary Conley recipe (have a little booklet with cheap under £5 healthy recipes) with ww sausages as DH doesn't think it's a meal without some meat and as veg pie only coming out at 171cal pp thought I would be able to get away with it :-)
As still without a car about to walk into town with my two boys is about 2 miles there and will be pushing a pushchair so hoping give me a good bit of exercise! Good luck everyone this week, those on holiday have a great time sending you strong willpower thoughts, those not feeling very well sending get better vibes started school hols with being sick and is horrible for the motivation!0 -
Trying to multiquote - apologies if it all goes wrong!!

Yesterday was good calorie wise, but still up a pound today.....where is the hitting your head against a brickwall smilie, when you need it???
B - branflakes
S - nectarine
L - crispbreads, butter, ham
S - full fat yog and 10g of granola
T - WW chicken pasta bake
