  • Daisiegg your holiday sounds great. hope you have a good time.
Didn't do too well yesterday. DH went to a football match yesterday afternoon and I got a bit peckish and ate 3 of his digestive biscuits. Don't know why I did it as I'm never normally tempted by biscuits. To make matters worse we went to a concert last night and as we didn't have time to eat before we went I had a portion of chips while I was there!
Sorry to ramble I'm just hoping today is better

Been led astray today, but admit I was quite willing!

Went back to sis-in-laws as we'd decided on an afternoon out.
She says come for lunch first, we had cheese and tomato toasties.

Then we went to visit a Tibetan temple, and we visited the coffee shop...I claimed the last table, while she went for the coffee...she also bought chocolate cake, but it wasn't sponge cake, it was a sort of solid chocolately thing, very sickly, about a zillion calories, I would think.

Then I intended to go home, but she said stay for tea...so we had a spinach and ricotta pastry, veg and oven chips.

It was nice to spend time with her, (and it was very relaxing listening to the monks chanting) ...but I ate things I wouldn't have chosen at home.
Made me realise that while I don't always get it right, my choices are getting a bit better...and that left to my own devices, I don't often eat when I'm not hungry, I felt quite wasteful eating that cake when I didn't need it today.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

    Morning all.

I'm feeling somewhat grumpy this morning, having put on a favourite cardigan only to discover that it's shrunk in the wash. :( I know it's the cardigan that's shrunk and not me that's grown as, thanks to this thread, I've shrunk too!

    Cardigan woes aside, today goes:

B - slice of wholemeal toast with blackberry jam
L - 4 rye crispbreads with crab pate and cucumber sticks; pot of rhubarb yoghurt; nectarine
D - TBC - it was meant to be pasta with kale and blue cheese but I think that might make today a bit carb-heavy, so I'll see what else is on my meal plan that I can swap it with when I get home this evening

    Have a good day, all.
Back after a very long break!
