Brilliant news on the foot daisiegg - are you seeing a physio/doc again before you go? just to double check what you can and can't do?

Boo re the butter nut squash bake!

CCP- I have made butter nut squash soup in the past (I always put abit of chilli in mine to cut the sweetness) or you could halve them and stuff them like peppers?

Im trying to be good today but am eating out with a friend tonight so that will be extra calories plus no chance to do my exercise DVD tonight!

    Be good all :)

Grr. I'm feeling really cross with myself - I bought a caramel crispy cake at lunchtime, which was being sold to raise money for charity, with the intention of having half today and half tomorrow. Instead I ate the whole thing and now feel rather unwell, not being a great eater of sweet things normally.

    As I said, grr.

savesummore - thanks for the BNS suggestions.

daisiegg - have a lovely time, and look after that foot!
Back after a very long break!

Bl00dy rain! always arrives at the most inconvenient time.
Sounds like you had a good night anyway...and don't mention the football! :rotfl:

Yes it was a fairly good night - two of my friends left around 10.30-11pm and the other two stayed over and went home this morning. :)

Got a few leftovers to eat up for dinner -
    1 burger
    1 roll
    cheese slice things
    1 rasher bacon
    1 ww sausage

Plus we seem to have quite a bit of extra booze accumulated...lol have put 98% of it away for another time....there are a couple cans of Koppaberg in the fridge chilling away happily :D

Had Subway for lunch and impressed myself by going for a low fat chicken & salad on wheat (6"). But I did get a cookie, because I had a coupon for a free one :o

Good luck tomorrow/Saturday, take care n God bless :)

Have a fantastic holiday and wishing you a big chunk of willpower, to pack in your suitcase!

    :D

I am hoping to get to the US next year (never been on a plane before :o) but my new husband has travelled loads and is determined to get me on a plane......

If it ever DOES happen, I dont think I would plan to be good with food.......just munch my way around whatever state we ended up in.

(You may have noticed I am sort of lurking at the moment...the diet has just completely given up the ghost. Off to California at the weekend so I have had less than no motivation. I had a cupcake for breakfast today!!! But I will have fruit for lunch and a light vegetable based dinner....and am about to go on the treadmill. I know holiday will be so bad for eating and drinking but I so don't want to gain loads :( I am currently only half a stone lighter than my heaviest ever weight and I need to be incredibly careful! One could easily gain more than half a stone on a two week holiday in America and then I will just struggle more when I have to get back on the straight and narrow in September. Please wish me willpower everyone!)
