(You may have noticed I am sort of lurking at the moment...the diet has just completely given up the ghost. Off to California at the weekend so I have had less than no motivation. I had a cupcake for breakfast today!!! But I will have fruit for lunch and a light vegetable based dinner....and am about to go on the treadmill. I know holiday will be so bad for eating and drinking but I so don't want to gain loads
I am currently only half a stone lighter than my heaviest ever weight and I need to be incredibly careful! One could easily gain more than half a stone on a two week holiday in America and then I will just struggle more when I have to get back on the straight and narrow in September. Please wish me willpower everyone!)

Yes it's Thursday daisiegg
(and sending you lots of willpower vibes for when the time is right for you...you've got to enjoy your holidays!)
Have managed a walk to the shops this morning, a lot slower and stiffer than yesterday...after everything I got done yesterday, I am, as they say, paying for it todayIt was a right slow plod, and raining a bit too, so sweating in a raincoat (what a lovely look :rotfl:)
Felt I needed to make the effort though, a sneaky stand on the scales today shows no movement
For those on MFP, are you over on your sugar every day?
I'm not worrying about it, but I'm over on the sugar every day.
Fozziebear, I measured my milk yesterday, and I used a tiny bit over 250 mls (which is what my jug holds). So instead of putting in every cup of tea I have, today I put in 300 mls of milk to cover the day. With the milk and a smallish portion of granola, I'm over already! It's got to be unreasonable to expect that I won't have any more sugar at all today, it's hidden in lots of things?
OG, I buy all my jeans online, I haven't tried jeans on in a shop for many years...I'm shuddering just thinking about it :rotfl:

Raining heavily here, hope it's dry for theatregirls BBQ!
.....nope. We got rained out. Got the BBQ set up, chairs, everything in place, all the food on the grill being cooked...and 20 minutes later DOWN. IT. COMES.
Still had a very nice night indoors with the football on for the blokes (they were outnumbered three to two but even so the football went on...!), plenty of food cooked in the oven and plenty of booze :rotfl: oh and a little bit of dessert too!
pleased to report I didnt eat that much it was the alcohol that was the calorie content.
Of course cleaning up after my four (messyish) friends - dishes, recycling boxes out this morning for tomorrow - is always a good workout after a night like that!
off out to chiropodist today, going to get my feet done before I go away on holiday, only 2 and a bit weeks till we fly out0 -

Bl00dy rain! always arrives at the most inconvenient time.
Sounds like you had a good night anyway...and don't mention the football! :rotfl:

I mowed the lawn instead of going on the treadmill...but I reckon it was better exercise as it took an hour and I broke way more of a sweat than I would walking for 15 mins on the treadmill!
I also walked to and from the pub, 15 mins each way, yesterday for lunch with my friend (hopefully burning off my sausage baguette...to my credit, it was served with chips and I didn't eat a single one!) so I think my foot is getting better. I am really hoping to be able to do some good walks in Yosemite next week!0
