    Evening All

Well I will be joining you ellie in the fish and chips as we also had today that today (and it was lively) will also raise in the form of a slice of hm coffee and walnut cake

Well mine was quite nice, but it wasn't lively, I made sure it was dead!

I'll see your slice of cake, and raise you a chocolate bun and 2 homemade syrup biscuits!

    (still can't do smileys)

Had a lovely post all written out, only to have an error message saying I had been blocked!

    So here's the shorter version!

Foodwise not too bad today, but had supper which I don't usually have but as we had company tonight it would have been rude not to eat anything!

Well done RS! I tried to send you lots of clapping smileys but the gremlins wouldn't let me.

Trying this to see if it works :D

I was still getting blocked, but typed the colon and capital D - and it has turned it into a grin smiley for me! Don't know how to make a clapping smiley though!

OK- what I did was type out the colon and capital D, then it was translated into the grin smiley when I submitted the reply. I still can't quote anyone's smilies though.

This didn't show up on the previous post at first!

  • Right - have read through the thread - glad everyone is doing okay.

Tonight I made cajun chicken and wedges from the Hairy Dieters book and it was lovely! The only thing was that the portion wasn't very big so I added salad and a bit of coleslaw.

    Menu today:
Brunch: two poached eggs on one slice of toast with grilled tomatoes and one rasher of bacon.
Dinner: Cajun chicken and wedges with salad.
Supper: four breadsticks and a hm yoghurt dip.

the yoghurt dip was lovely - it was just natural yoghurt, a bit of light salad cream, a bit of thousand island dressing, chives and salt and pepper.

I don't drink enough - today I have had about 1litre of water, two cups of tea and a bottle of sugar free Ribena.

Hope you are all having a good evening!

Someone posted that if you go into User CP, then Edit Options, then scroll down to Message Editor Interface and change it to Standard Editor the smileys will work.
They come out right when you press post.

I tried it and it works :)

  • The clapping smiley is colon plus a capital T.
