I am a stay at home mother, with two kids, and I have around 6stones to lose. My husband goes away on deployment in October for four months, so I need to be as fit as possible to deal with my kids! Lost 4lbs last month so will start from that.

Well, having said yesterday that I hadn't lost anything bar the 3 pounds I believe to be water, I got tempted to try the scales again and yes, I'm 1lb down. :j

I'm going to push it a bit this week though because Half Term is always a bit of a nightmare food wise. So I'm aiming for another 2lb by Sunday.

I will weigh myself this Friday at the two week mark and try to start a fresh on losing weight (I'm a glutton for punishment) as have booked our wedding for August 2013 so need to prepare myself for dress shopping lol.

I am having a busy week and am out on sat night and need to try not to drink too many calories and I am out for an Indian on thurs and was wondering if any of you could tell me the healthier options? Thanks for your help and support!

Thanks for that, might go the lemon tea way, will just need to find a nicer tasting tea that I can drink 'neat' ;) + the lemon slice.

knittingcathy .....it's weird but I can drink coffee without sugar np but I rarely feel the need to have any. Maybe once or twice a month.

Have you tried redbush/rooibos? It's similar to black tea but quite sweet.

From what I remember doing WW (lost 5 stone there a long time ago!) the dry tandoori style dishes are the best bet as they don't have a sauce. Pair it with plain rice and side salad. Stay away from bhajis as they tend to be deep fried, and perhaps have a couple of poppadoms to start. Indian is my favourite food! I'm vegetarian now and I really miss chicken tikka tandoori - yum!

    Afternoon ladies

Would you all line up and kick me in the butt as you pass please? :( I'm so cross with myself, don't know why as I desparately want to move down and away from the 10st mark but I totally sabotaged myself today, and didn't even enjoy it! It happened like this...

B - in a rush, was going to make porridge but had 2 slices toasted Danish w/yogurt and a scrape of marmalade.
The went to my exercise class and someone brought some goodies as they're leaving. After an hour's exercise I had a Galaxy Celebration :o
Then went to Mr S, tried to pass the cooked chicken counter but it pulled me in and forced me to buy a Chinese chicken thigh which I ate in the car on the way home, skin and all

I have some celery in the fridge, I should make myself eat just that for the rest of the day!

    Bad Sparrer :naughty:
