TG...look on the back of your Pilates for Dummies DVD (assuming it's the same one as mine)...does it say the woman is 14 instead of (presumably) 41? Mine does and I thought it was hilarious when I noticed! Pilates is so good it can reverse the aging process...:rotfl:0

Lol daisiegg, I think I need that DVD. My birthday is coming around swiftly, in less than a month and I'll be 30 + 2!! Have started to notice some not too nice signs of ageing... Since losing these last few lbs I seem to have got a saggy face!!!! Double smile lines!! Am wondering whether I should just exercise instead of lose any more weight?! But anyway this morning I have lost 1lb, I wanted it to be more, but at least it's a loss not a gain, and the weekend was spent eating so, I can't complain!
Going to have a few naughty days as am out to lunch today and tomorrow but will try not to over do it and will be back on track by Sunday/Monday. How did everyone else get on?0 -
Morning chums I have got into the routine now of 'nil snacks by mouth'
:):) ,mind you having a cold has probably helped as I really don't feel like eating much at the moment .I have a 'wobbly' time coming up I am off on my annual holiday tomorrow with my DD and family ,two weeks at the seaside with all the temptations of ice cream and chips
but I will do my best not to give in and spoil the good work.I have shed three lbs this week altogether so I am pleased with that.Fingers crossed when I return in two weeks I may have lost a little more,if not it will be back on the wagon once again.Have a good fortnight everyone See you later

Here's the proof that when you're disillusioned and fed up and just want to give up, you should keep going...
I'm declaring a 2 lb loss today!
F i n a l l y it has started to shift again, after umpteen weeks of staying the same
This week I weighed a few things - cereal, potaotes, cheese, but I didn't really change my eating, just became aware of how many calories were in things...the only thing different was having a smaller portion of cereal. I've even eaten cake! so all I can suggest is that it can sometimes take a little while for the body to part with the pounds?
It's really helped my motivation...next summer I'll be using tea towels like officeguru

Guten tag alles. Clearly for me holidays is the way to lose weight. A week in Berlin where the weather was hot and we did loads of walking i am pleased to report another 2.5 pounds:jMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025
25 for 25: 371 / 625
declutter: 173 / 2025

+1 for me. I know that is going in the wrong direction
but to be honest I was expecting it to be a lot worse considering what I ate in the first part of this week (I have eaten a whole tub of dairy free ice cream all by myself between Monday and Thursday!!!!).
I have pretty much lost my motivation really and I know I won't get it back until I return from holiday at the beginning of September. I'll do my best for the next week until I go on holiday and I will definitely exercise each day (walking on treadmill + DVDs) but realistically I am probably not going to lose anything before holiday. I need to work extra hard in September to sort myself out.
Well done to all the losersJackieO have a lovely time at the seaside
also I really hope you don't mind a gentle reminder but I know the lovely Knit Witch finds it easier if we post weigh-ins in red

Well done all you losers
especially Ellie, it's so nice to see things moving in the right direction for you. And that's not a bad weigh in Daisiegg, I'd be the same and would be completely lacking in motivation if I was going on holiday.

Thank you missymoo, well done to you too! :T
Are you close to your target weight when you're considering not losing any more? I've got those smile lines too...I was shocked the first time I noticed them...perfectly normal face - smile - all these lines down my cheeks  But what can you do, you've got to keep smiling, haven't you?

). Having said which I'm out to dinner on Sunday and lunch on Monday, but think we'll go to the under 700cal restaurant both times
