Really busy day at work today. Got home around 6.45  from 9.30 start and only 15 mins break :(. Family had ordered Chinese so I ended up having some (fried) rice with DH. Added some cucumber and lean sliced beef and soy sauce. Tiny cherry cupcake, 1 sweet from my birthday box and 1 for my DH, glass of lemonade, glass of orange and mango squash
B- the usual work day breakfast - muesli, Greek yog, honey and soya milk
L- tuna mayo sandwich, no butter or marg, banana, 1 mint cream sweet
    D- as above
    S- probably a lf yog
Lots of water today again - I must be sweating nearly as much as I'm drinking, 'cause when I go to the loo it's still quite strong IYSWIM ;) Sorry if that's too much info, but has anyone else noticed it as well?

I lost 1lb before my hols and didn't get around to posting, and I've lost 1lb this week too, so that's a 2lb loss altogether :)

    Enjoy your time off Theatregirl.

Comp getting slower, won't be long before it fades away into cyber space...

B - none had to out at silly o'clock
L - buffet, just had a couple of 1/4 sandwiches, a veg roll and some fruit salad
D - fish cakes and oven chips
    S - melon, orange
E - none as out from dawn til 9pm

Sweet dreams (in my case of fully working comps)
  • Sorry for the late post KW but this is the first time I've been able to get on line
Checking in with an STS again, but i'm happy with that this week as we were away at a party at the weekend and I did eat quite a lot. Actually it's a loss 0f 0.2lb but I'm treating it as an STS.
    Have a good week everyone

    Morning all.

Well, yesterday turned into an absolute disaster from a weight loss POV - I couldn't sleep last night as I'd eaten so much I gave myself stomach ache. :o:( I haven't been that stupid and greedy in a long time, and I'm disgusted with myself. The rest of this week is therefore now going to be dedicated to making up for it.

B - none, as I woke up late and still felt stuffed
L - bread roll with a thin spreading of butter and a boiled egg; glass of apple juice
D- chicken, broad bean and pesto stew, with another roll to mop up the sauce if I feel like I need it; portion of pineapple
Back after a very long break!
  • afternoon all

well another weary day - didnt feel too bright after work last night, was sitting out in the garden at 9pm half asleep :rotfl: thought I'd feel better after a good nights sleep - and I did - but then DM went and tripped over a carpet this morning. It had rucked up against the table and she only went and twisted her bad leg didnt she!
This is the same thing as what happened the other day! So although she's been getting better she's now gone and put herself BACK at square 1. :(

So today has mostly been sorting things out and cleaning in lieu of her not being able to walk - she's using TWO sticks instead of one because she simply can't support herself, and I dont know what to do other than clean and keep house.....

Calories have definitely been burnt though:
    - made breakfast, and later on, lunch for us both
    - tidied round
    - did the dishes
    - put out recycling
    - cleaned out bunnies litterboxes
    - swept & quick tidy of garden
    - hoovered lounge (& took up the godforsaken mats that DM keeps tripping on!)
    - sorted through stuff in garage: some of which is being given to a charity collection this week (clothing, shoes etc) and then another bundle of it I'm going to stick on ebay.

    eurgh *dies*

b - turkey and salad sandwich, apple
l - pepperoni, ham, cheese spread & salad bagel. crisps. hazelnut yoghurt.
d - hm quorn chicken and rice portion. I have a feeling alcohol may also get a look in....theres a can of shandy in the fridge with my name on it........

Change of plan - there's no way I'm going to be able to face a bowl of casserole for dinner tonight :o - I'll have garlic mushrooms and tomatoes on a toasted roll instead.
Back after a very long break!

I have no idea, but I'll take it, lol! Actually I was under my calorie goal most days, even though I've not done much exercise this week, and despite going way over on Sunday (cake:o), I was under overall for the week.

On MFP they are always saying that you have to eat more to lose weight, and that you should always eat back your exercise calories, which all seems a bit strange but maybe they have a point, as it seems to have worked for me this week. Another thing that is definitely helping is all the water I've been drinking, MFP recommends at least 8 glasses of water each day, and although I don't always manage that, I do usually drink at least 6, starting with a pint with my breakfast. And of course you get the extra exercise of walking to the loo every half hour, lol!

Reading this makes me think I need to look at MFP.
I've been consistently eating an amount which in the past would had had me losing weight, and nothing is budging. I keep telling myself that one day I'll stand on the scales and they'll have gone down, but it's just not happening.

I'm VERY hesitant though to start eating more...as an example, I was on holiday with a friend for 4 days last summer, and though we didn't go mad with food, I ate more than normal...and I came home 3 lbs heavier :(, so I'm assuming that's what will happen if I eat more now.

Soooo...I've registered on MFP...it seems to promote keeping a record of what you eat, well, I'm doing that already! :)
I haven't got much patience for weighing things, but I'll try to weigh all the things I eat regularly so I know for future input, I'm guessing a bit today.
I'm to have 1200 calories a day, to lose one pound a week. It doesn't sound much....

I've got to try something new, even my mother said today that I should just have drinks and no food one day a week :(
I'm desperate to kick start the weight loss again...since I started in January I haven't even gone down to the next stone yet (started at high 13) :(

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?
