Wooo hooo Ive managed to lose the 2lb I put on and another 2lb!

So 4lb, but I don't think the 2lb I put on was added last week as I was so late in posting so an you put a 2lb loss for me!!

I Have to say for the last 4 days I have religiously stuck to my calories. Eating mostly what I fancy but just smaller portions and I usually have huge bowls of cereal with ss milk, but I've been having much smaller bowls with almond milk and I've been having ryvita instead of sandwiches but for evening meal I'm just having what I fancy but maybe half my usual massive portions!

    Hi all

No surprise - STS again this week

That's only one pound off in the whole of July! And I'm really trying...I might have been talking about chocolate and cake this week, but I wasn't eating it!

I eat my evening meal, and think "yes, that's enough", but I'm feeling decidedly peckish by bedtime...I woke up at 3 am last night feeling hungry :rotfl: If I cut back any more I'll be really hungry!

Morning all, and welcome JackieO - as another cheese fan you'll fit right in! ;)

I'll do my weigh-in tomorrow if that's OK: according to the scales I've gained a pound and a half since this time yesterday and, while I know alcohol isn't exactly a dieter's friend, I can't believe the couple of pints of cider I had last night can have done that much damage that quickly!

    Today goes:

B - half a dozen mini crispbreads with a small amount of goosegog jam; small fruit bun with a small amount of ginger curd (naughty, but I was unusually hungry - I'm not usually much of a breakfast person)
L - LO salmon parcel with salad; LF fruit yoghurt; two apricots
D - ham and mushroom French bread pizzas, with a SMALL amount of cheese (if I say it often enough I might actually manage it one of these days! :o)

Usually I have a couple of glasses of wine on a Friday evening but, having been out last night, I might be good and just have some fizzy water instead.

    Best of luck today, folks!
Back after a very long break!

Well just mustering up the energy to tidy as dd little friend coming round for the day, so a little tidy is in order, not sure what I will do with him though as it is pouring down so can't chuck them in the as planned:think:

Am going to make some little cakes, for them to decorate as lots of toppings in the cupboard. But need to think of other activities to do as he is staying till 6:30:eek:

    B. blueberry bagel
    L. Planning wraps fir the kids with various toppings so they can make their own, so probably have one too.
    D. Spag bol in the slow cooker now, asked dd what her friend would like for dinner (he is Asian) and he said anything that doesn't envolve rice! Bless:rotfl:

Sorry also reporting a 1lb loss

Welcome JackieO lovely to see you over here, I also love cheese and am going with strong and grated rather than great big chunks!:rotfl:

Hi all, im creeping back on the wagon (sheepishly:o)

I dont know how but ive stayed the same since I last posted:j
Gonna start trying this week. Ive had 2 boiled eggs and a piece of toast for breakfast

lunch/dinner will be whatever my concoction in the slow cooker is...ive never used soya mince before and im trying to make a bolognaise style thing with out tinned tomatoes as I dont want to do any shopping so i added (Alot of) tomato puree (I have loads in). will be interesting. will either have it as it is or on a jacket potato.

my new thing is to not eat after 6 Oclock in the evening so im hungry for breakfast in the morning, eat smaller portions and more home made soup as I know what goes into it, has fewer calories than a normal meal and is quite filling. Im also trying to cook from stratch and do the 5:2 diet (soup in the 2 days)

However after reading the last few pages i now want cake...at least if I make it myself I am burning calories making it and I can freeze portions so I dont devour it all in one go..think I might do that as its nice to have a tasty treat.

    Hope you are all well

    Morning all, hi JackieO :)
BIG troubles with lappy, taken over two hours to get this far as the fan has broken so it's overheating like crazy. Looks like an urgent trip to the techie hospital for some spare part surgery is needed.

Reporting an STS which is better than it might have been considering I was fed big time last weekend.

    B - F&F, ss milk
L - salad with grilled pork ribs
    T - usual 3 crackerbreads
S - raw carrots, pear, orange
E - 1x10 mins done, just going to pull weeds/deadhead etc, more 10 mins before lunch & tea

Typing letters soooo slowly, let's see if it posts. Fingers crossed. Have a sunny day

Okay have made my cakes, really good I only made enough for the kids to decorate and eat, but I am back to report that cake making is not only dangerous to your weight but also finances.

Whilst rummaging in my cupboard looking for cake cases a jar fell out of the cupboard straight onto my slow cooking (which has my spag bol in it) and chipped off a great chunk of the rim:eek:

I'm hoping the spag will be okay, I can't see any chips in it, what do you think?

So now need a new slow cooker:(

So to recap, CAKE BAKING DON'T DO IT!!

My own fault - I could cry for emotional eating!!

  • afternoon all.

KW I'll weigh in tomorrow. Things not gone as usual here this morning.

Started about 6.30am when DM called up to me to come and help her - she's been having some problems with her knee, its usually a little bit difficult for her to walk around and she often has to use a stick when out. Not so bad when I can drive her places to take the weight off it.
Anyway the last few days havent been too good to her, and with the change in climate its really been an issue. So I went downstairs to her and shes literally nearly in tears in the hall - she'd tried to get up to go to the bathroom and then was going out to change the bunnies hutches before the dustmen came this morning at stupid o clock

I told her in polite terms to "get her a$$" back into bed :rotfl: and rest up, made her tea and got her comfortable. Saw to bunnies (fed them they didnt actually need changing, its just my DM being OCD about them!) and came back in and went back to bed!

(DM is better now, btw. Not 100%, but better than the 42% she was this morning, bless).

of course not done wonders for the diet as everything is carbs again today!

    brekkies - beans on toast
brunch - pepperoni, cheese + salad sandwich.
lunch - no idea will have to add in later, perhaps tuna salad?
dinner - hm small portion of pasta.
