  • Have a great time daisiegg. Worry about losing weight when you get back.
Just thinking about doing a barbecue tonight. Plenty of salad though and no bread rolls

Hi chums I too want to lose some so hopefully will be joining your happy band.Youngest DD has piled it on as have i (we enjoy our food too much :):)) so now its time to take things in hand before it gets out of control.I like almost anything ,my downfall is cheese I adore the stuff and if marooned on a desrt island my one luxury would be an inexhaustable supply of cheese I can live without chocolate ,booze ,bread and fatty things but cheese which I know isn't that good on a diet is what I would miss the most. But I shall happily break out the cracker bread and porrige and cut back on lamb chops (dribbles here sadly :)) to if not get my sylph like figure back at least something less resembling a 'weeble' would be nice :):)I do have a problem excercising as I have a mobility problem and cannot walk very far as my joints have seen far better days :):) so any ideas what I could do to assist in the excercising area that wouldn't have me creaking along like a squeeky old gate .I welcome any help thats availabe
    Cheers chums

Thanks everyone for the comments...you're all so kind!

I managed to find my airport hotel although I drove around in circles in West Drayton for about 20 minutes getting increasingly panicky, able to see my hotel but not able to figure out how to actually get there! Not my finest moment...I think I will need a restorative glass of wine or two when hubby arrives...

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend and good luck to those weighing in tomorrow!

Welcome JackieO! We are slightly mental but very friendly :D

They say swimming is a good low impact exercise for those with joint problems etc, is that something you have considered at all?

Well I could I guess but I go away on holiday next week, but I know my weight as I was weighed at the hospital:o... shall we say small house :):)so its really got to go;) I enjoy swimming (or well I used to ) but since my mastectomy I found that as my right arm doesn't work as well as it should I have a tendancy to swim in circles :D which can be a bit off putting but I do like it .At the moment with the children being off school it would be a case of fighting for a space until they go back next month but once they are back I think I could easily start again when its a bit quieter.Looking a bit lopsided as well in a cossy :rotfl:which can put some folk off ,but it doesn't bother me what I look like as I have survived and got the all-clear which in itself is a blooming miracle:j Lets just say my BMI is 44 :eek:which is appalling when I think I used to be a size 8 so its really gotta go this time:rotfl:So I need lots of help and advice I am not one for joining WW diet clubs as I really would struggle to find the time, and probably the cash so I think an online mutual help is far better

Welcome jackieO. Daisie, I'm sorry you're feeling down my lovely, chin up and I hope you have a lovely time away.

Well food has been a bit erratic today.

    40g porridge
    Banana
    Apple

    30gcheerios with almond milk

    2/3rds tin of beans
    15g cheese

    Hm mocha
    1/2 pack of quavers

Aaaaand I think that's it. Still under my calorie count and MIL has left me a freddo bar so I think I'll have that with a cup of tea later! Really want the scales to show a loss tomorrow after my 2lb gain last week, I'd like to lose that and then some, but we'll see!

Not your fault the roads are confusing daisiegg!
I once did the same in Newcastle...wanted to go to Ikea, which was on my left...how was I meant to know I should keep in the right hand lane, it's hardly obvious, especially to someone more used to single track roads (we shouldn't be allowed out in the city) :rotfl:

    Still being good today -
    granola
    2 slices wm toast
piece of chicken, new potato wedges (done with that one cal spray stuff) and veg.

    Dreading tomorrow!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

:rotfl: Stop naming all these places I know and can get to! :p

Horrendously HOT sticky day at work. Worked the double, and this evening I managed to get a heat rash right on the top of my left inner thigh....so that killed all night....have put some aloe vera lotion on it now though so that is helping. Also Mother Nature paid me a visit, just what you want in this fricking heat!!

Home now, all fed and cooled off and relaxing with all the lights off. Tried to get some iron and other good stuff into me given that it's TTOTM and was working hard - so ate quite a bit today:

b - special k cereal with ss milk
l - tuna mayo pasta carton thingy from Mr T's before my shift. Plus a small bar of ellie's favourite chocolate......
d - subway: 6 inch wheat sub, steak & cheese with sweetcorn, cucumber, lettuce, plus a reg portion of kfc fries. :o
t - hm stirfry portion, slice of bread, 1.5 chocolate digestives

been drinking tons of water today too - lost count how much I got through...! I think I'll drown if I drink any more! :rotfl:

What can I say about cake ?
I cooks it, and I eats it:o so I've got to knock that on the head a bit smartish, along with my moreish biscuits :D But needs must when the weight drives and its gotta go so cake & bikkies are gone, banished to the land of sin, along with my favorite cheese:(.My new mantra is
    I can ;)
    I will :D
    I have :j
    Onwards and upwards chums
Breakfast this morning will be bran flakes (aka cardboard shavings )but good for you.

Lunch will be beans on toast no butter or cheese

Dinner egg salad with emphasis on salad by the ton :D

Snacks I'm not too bothered about as I don't eat crisps or chocolate anyway.Lots of cold water by the gallon and less tea(I am a bit of a tea pot & coffee come to that but I can drink coffee without milk at least as I like it black
    Cheers chums
