S: HM tealoaf (slice of)

Theatregirl- have a fab timeO/S weight loss 2.5 /10lbs (11st 8.0- 08.02)0 -
L - slice of [STRIKE]ham and leek quiche[/STRIKE] with something salad-y (I'll have to buy something so I don't know what yet)
Correction - smoked cheese and onion quiche. I really must learn to label things before putting them in the freezer!
With a mixed salad, minus all the bits of revolting celery which I didn't see when I picked up the pack.
Have a lovely evening, TG - I look forward to hearing all about it.Back after a very long break!0 -
I am in a downward spiral, hurtling towards earth, but luckily my fall is being broken by cake and pasta. Remember what I said about giving up and starting afresh in September....? Sounding far too tempting........0

Hmmm today hasn't really gone to plan, went to a friends for coffee, came home and was ravenous!
So so far I have had
40g porridge 1/2 banana
1/3 apple
1 slice of seeded bread toasted 1/2 peanut butter 1/2 marmite
1/2 packet of quavers
Hm mocha
2 ryvitas with quark and tomatoes
Must not stuff anuthing else down my throat until dinner time. Have decided to have fish fingers with sweetcorn, peas and mash, have put everything into MFP and am at 1300 calories, so I can't really have anything else. I have to say it has really really helped me writing down what I've eaten then I seem to be making better choices on what to eat for the rest of the day. Another thing I've realised is just how many calories I was consuming when I thought I was being good!!!!!
Desperate to make daisies syrup cakes but I'll save them for the weekend.0 -
afternoon ladies
I seem to be following the trend of over indulging...carbs are bad I must remember this...
b - sandwich: 1 x ww sausage and 3 rashers bacon, 3 x choc digestives
l - another 1.5 rounds of sandwiches: pepperoni, cheese, ham + salad plus some pringles (bad TG!)
d - will probably skip and have munchies at the theatre
no other food will pass my lips today!
mind you I have done 20 minutes walking to and from shop/post office, and have to clean bunnies later, so not all is lost, plus walking around london tonight lol.
thank you for the kind tidbits about tonight btw, I'm sure it will be fine once I'm settled, still a little apprehensive but its time I embraced my ongoing singledom......sigh.
For those of you who asked, I'm going to see A Chorus Line @ the London Palladium

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE??? 2 pages of talk on CAKE, a recipe AND a photo??? Now i know what you guys were doing while i was away! *wipes the cake crumbs off my workdesk*
I was actually popping in to ask a question (before getting side tracked by CAKE!)...do people agree with a 'natural weight'? I seem to have stopped losing any weight below 144 pounds. I vary at any time between 144 and 149lbs. No matter what i do or how hard i exercise, the 4 lbs just won't come off. I am 5'7 so this is an ok weight for me but i'd just like to be 140lbs for once in my life!
So, natural weight? Or do i just need to work harder?0 -
Oh and have a fab time TG0

I blame this thread. A colleague bought some mini cupcakes into the office and, after all the cake talk on here, I had to have one just to be polite.
It was only a mini cake, though, so surely that only counts as being a small bit bad?Back after a very long break!0 -

Shuffles off...rather red, and feeling thoroughly chastised...:rotfl:no more cake talk, no more cake talk...
Re natural weight...yes, I do think our bodies have a weight they're happy at. In my twenties mine was 9st 4lbs, after having children it was 10 st. I could diet and drop a couple more pounds, but it always went back on.
Maybe you're ready to concentrate on maintaining now?
BTW...I have not had ANY cake, in fact no snacks at all this week, but a sneaky weigh in shows no loss so far
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0
