sugarpuss, well done on your walk - that is something to feel positive about
pineapple cake sounds gorgeous - may I ask how it is 'right side up'?
[/QUOTE]
Hi Daisyegg, Well it's upside down cake but I don't turn it upside down! So pineapple at the bottom and sponge on the top, delish!
Too delish......shame!:oWith Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha

Weigh in day for me today and I've lost 1lb. It can come off in any amounts it likes so long as it comes off.
I wasn't expecting to lose this week so I think the gardening has helped to work the cals off.
Food planned:
Iced coffee
sml choc/coconut bun
Blue cheese and pear herby salad
3 crackers
Watermelon
Mixed meat salad sandwich
Banana
I'm interested in the 'pineapple right side up cake', too.
The pineapple right side up cake is really just upside down cake not turned upside down. Fresh pineapple on the bottom, sponge on the top! Never turns out properly so don't bother. Goes down a treat whichever way up!With Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha

Have just been reflecting on my posts and trying to analyse why food is an issue for me!! Baking and cooking for me is a link to my past I think. We didn't have very much but Mum was such a good cook and we never went hungry and ate good simple food. Best memories are of Mum cooking or baking and the smell in the kitchen. I am probably the only one of us 3 sisters that love to cook. I now have the time to spend time and enjoy cooking and love baking but I also love to eat it! Dear old Mum was very much OS and as I have got older I am so much like her, enjoying the very simple pleasures that life offers. Food is one of them for me. Gone all psychological!! Sure it has a bearing on my eating habits. Hope you don't mind the reflective thoughts, sometimes thoughts need to be written down to bring them into focus and also may help someone else. With Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha

boooooooo!
2) have a lower calorie alternative
there is no lower calorie alternative to delicious red wine!
3) have a small white wine spritzer
white wine? Bleeeeeeugh (unless it is a very hot afternoon and it is being drunk outside, I'm not a white wine person at all!)
4) just have it and wi on Sat or Sun
this would be good advice if not for the fact that tomorrow evening will definitely involve copious amounts of wine and I'm out nearly all weekend :rotfl:
Ohhhhh, I am a hopeless case! :rotfl:0 -

L - 2 falafels (69 cals each), some sweetcorn, an apple
