Well, after managing ONE DAY with no snacks, I am clearly an expert :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: If you manage two days I think you'll be entitled to letters after your name.recovering_spendaholic wrote: »
I am just watching "Diners Drive ins and Dives" on the Food Network - OMG the food looks incredible!!
Not another one who drools over Food Network! I LOVE it, all of it. Barefoot Contessa is my DH's favourite so its looking good me be as she's a little tubby.
Food still not planned again today as felt yuck. This does not bode well for my WI tomorrow.
Eaten today:
Iced coffee
banana
Roast beef and onion sandwich
Pork steak, steamed pots, broad beans,
carrots & peas with HM apple sauce.
Pk crisps, sml chocolate & coconut bun. 1 sq if chocolate.
At least loads of exercise in the garden today.
Last time I lost weight I found crochet and cross stitch kept me out of trouble. I'm soooo boring.:o

Morning all, felt so fed up with myself after posting last night that I went for one of my walks down the lane, took about an hour so something. Not sure it will have worked of a whole snickers but hey ho! My plan for today is as follows and will get another walk in tonight.
b - Aldi crispbread and marmite
d - shepherdy type pie, curly kale, new carrots, spring greens, gravy.
t - Dippy eggs
Snacks. have some leftover pineapple right way up cake. Hubs and friend will have theirs for pudding I will keep mine in the fridge and cut it up and have for snacking. Would be better not to have it at all but hopefully this way will stop me heading for something worse.
Just hope that I have a least stayed the same this week!Going to be another tricky weekend as we have respite again this weekend so making biscuits etc! I don't buy crisps or stuff like that and luckily she loves fruit and veg but she does love a bit of a treat.
I wish you all a wonderful day. With Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha

Ohhh, another sneaky weigh in this morning is still STS
(that's not my weigh in btw TG - I'll wait and see if I can get a lb off by tomorrow!)
sugarpuss, well done on your walk - that is something to feel positive aboutpineapple cake sounds gorgeous - may I ask how it is 'right side up'?

Sneaky WI this morning suggests it'll be STS for me tomorrow, too, which would be acceptable-ish. :undecided
Today goes:
B - cherry muesli with a full fat black cherry yoghurt (the last one, then it's over to low fat / fat free ones next time I go shopping)
L - aubergine and broad beans in tomato sauce (LO from last night's gratin); two rye not-very-crispbreads (the packet's been open too long!); two nectarines
D - spicy roast squash and bean salad
I'm out with friends tonight which will mean some alcohol, but I'm intending to limit myself to two small glasses of wine with soda water, which is considerably less calorific than the cider I usually drink (although also less tasty).
Back after a very long break!0 -
Morning all
Have to nip into town this afternoon, cant be bothered to drive but hey ho....lol. #firstworldproblems and all that....
love how everyone is having these sneaky weigh ins before the weekend :rotfl: cmon I'm not that scary surely? lol.

b - 1 slice bread, 2 x ww sausages, baked beans
s - apple
l - bagel with spread, cheese & salad
s - 2 chewy lollipops
d - hm stirfry portion (beef/noodles/veg), slice bread and butter
s - 1/4 of a tub of l/o ice cream from freezer....have thrown the rest away now so it wont tempt me! lol0 -
Sugarpuss- what are Dippy eggs? Are they the same as boiled eggs?
Weigh in day for me today and I've lost 1lb. It can come off in any amounts it likes so long as it comes off.
I wasn't expecting to lose this week so I think the gardening has helped to work the cals off.
Food planned:
Iced coffee
sml choc/coconut bun
Blue cheese and pear herby salad
3 crackers
Watermelon
Mixed meat salad sandwich
Banana
I'm interested in the 'pineapple right side up cake', too. :drool:AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

TG, after my own sneaky weigh in this morning I think I'LL be sending YOU a whole packet of oreos!
I made the big mistake at the weekend of buying 2 bars of chocolate because it was less than half price...my love of a bargain overriding my dieting brain. I thought I could hide them in the freezer...do you know in this weather it only takes 5 minutes for them to be eatable
But really, should 2 bars equate to a... *whisper* 2lb gain?
I'm not even hopeful that I can save it today...I'll be good through the day, but am going out to eat with friends tonight. Going somewhere posh! my friend has wanted to go to this fancy place which does a lot of weddings and is very expensive for ages...so we're going today, they do a reduced price 3 course deal before 6 pm. 3 courses! I never eat 3 courses, I need room for dessertWon't be drinking though, I have to drive home.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
