    Hi All,

I was going to post my weight tomorrow, but I stepped on the wii this morning and I have managed to lose -4 lbs that I had put on last week... So I am back to my starting weight for this challenge...

The sun is up and it's going to be hot! hot! hot!

Today, we are off to the hospital about 60 miles away to see what is the best way forward for my father-in-law... I've got the car today so that I can pick beloved up at his work... so picture me driving along the country roads with the roof down ... I bet when it comes time for me to leave, the clouds will appear and the skies will darken....

    Good luck everyone...

Congrats, sugarpuss, we are back on the straight and narrow!!!
Thanks OG, certainly lifts your spirits. Hope all goes well at the hospital.

Some good losses posted already, congrats everyone :T

    I have a 2 lb gain :(

Eating out last night didn't help...I had fish and chips! but then tried to redeem myself by having fresh fruit salad for dessert (didn't have 3 courses after all)
And really...trying to find something to wear to go out in this hot weather that didn't make me look like an old bag lady should have been enough to stop me eating at all! My friend is thinking of trying a juice diet after watching a TV programme this week, I'll let you know if the weight falls off her :)

The next 3 days are going to be quite disrupted, and I might not be at home for meals much, so not sure how I will do.
Been there Ellie99, and as for what to wear don't get me started. :eek:Don't beat your self up you can only do what you can do. Go back to it when you can.
No walkies for me today too busy have dropped off my friend from is two night stay with us. Got to feed the hanging baskets, runners and tommies and then the hubs before he goes off to work at one. Housework then before I pick up littlun for respite this weekend and copious amounts of washing and ironing throughout the day. Menu is a bit hit and miss
    b - toast marmalade
s - HM choc chip cookie (made for the littlun for the weekend...honest!)
d - No idea yet. (Hubs has leftover Sheps Pie)
    s - melon
    t - cheesy pasta
Have a good day all, and hugs to those that need it!;)

Hi :) I've kept off that other pound so I'd like to report -1lb for this week. Please could you put in a new target for me for another 2lbs. I know if I try for more I'll get dispirited and give up and there are many times when the same pound goes on and off several times. So if I start on another 2lbs it feels doable. After 2 1/2 years it's very slow work.

But every pound off is a step in the right direction. I would like to lose maybe another half to one stone, that would still make me overweight but when you've lost a big amount and you're old like me there will always be flab however much you exercise and unless you're prepared to have an operation (which I'm not) then you have to accept this. I may not look perfect but surely my health must be better.

OK, back to the garden and reading the paper. I'm updating the old laptop which comes out when my computer plays up and it's taking hours.

I've updated the spreadsheet KW sent me to reflect you're going to try for 4lbs total loss - so 2/4 will show when I next post the list on here :)

OK, diet is hereby abandoned until Tuesday. I didn't know there would be food served at a colleague's leaving do so, after eating my nice healthy salad, I then followed it up with sausages, southern fried chicken and nachos, then topped it off with an ice cream on the way back to the office - as did a number of colleagues, if that's any defence at all. :o

Ah well, I am on holiday (or will be in a couple of hours, anyway! ;)).

In case I don't post again in the interim, have a great weekend, everyone, and I'll see you on Tuesday. :)
Back after a very long break!

This is my first week on here and I only started on Monday, but I was still disappointed this morning to have stayed the same so 0lbs lost this week. My target for this coming week is 3lbs, and my overall target is to lose 70lbs:eek:

Today has been the hottest yet here and I am really feeling it! My knee is killing me and I don't feel like doing anything!

Breakfast was nothing (in a bad mood after WI), lunch was a chopped up salad mixed with a little bit of cold pasta and a bit of grated cheese (was lovely!) and I have just eaten two Aero mooses from a pack of 4 which I got reduced in Tesco for 15p.

Dinner will be salad again, with tuna and prawns, and maybe a jacket potato or maybe just a bread roll.

I bought some little flat peaches in Tesco earlier in the week and they were delicious - and only £1 for 6 but they didn't have any today which was a pain.

Well done to everyone who lost this week!! have a good break CCP!
