Thank You Theatre Girl for keeping us in order x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Hi everyone
just got caught up with all your posts from yesterday, seems the heat is playing havoc with our eating!

Hope you feel better today theatregirl.

I'm officially doing no more exercise (not that I was doing much anyway :)) until this heat is gone and I can wear trainers again :).
I decided yesterday to walk to some shops, just a 40 minute round walk. I had on sandals...expensive ones from a shop which advertises how comfy they are, with proper fronts and straps to keep them safely on...so not flimsy fashion ones, more old lady ones!...and I was hirpling by the time I got back. They were rubbing everywhere, and I also "went over" on my ankle a little bit.
I had a 100 mile drive home afterwards, by the time I got home my foot was all swollen and really painful. Very inconvenient, I've things to do this weekend!

So my food through the day was good, but went to pot once I got home...I expected to come home to a meal ready in the oven, but son was late home too and the oven was bare, I was disappointed! So he wouldn't cook, and I refused to cook with my sore foot, so we ordered pizza :o

So I'm sitting here with a swollen painful foot ...blOOdy sandals! knowing I'll be limping around all week. Still, at least it's not as bad as daisieggs foot injury :)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

TG - Oh how cute are they!! I'd never be able to put them down.
And glad you're feeling better today. Rotten to feel rubbish when its weekend. :)

So far today had:

Iced coffee

2 slices of Tiger bread with marmite
Custard doughnut
Chocolate chip cookie (not sml either):o

So my aim to 'eat smart' during the day as I know the food out tonight will be high cal' hasn't exactly worked out.

Nay mind, I shall just go with it today and remember that tomorrows another day. :p

Perhaps theres been some weight gains because the heat is causing water retention. Not uncommon to have puffy feet and fingers in this weather. Makes sense. (you can see I'm already working out my excuses for next WI) :D

• Hi everyone - sounds like the heat is playing havoc with most people's weight - it must be fluid;)

I feel absolutely knackered today and can't be bothered to do anything, but I know that I need to because the house looks like a bomb's hit it!!

ellie99 hope your foot feels better - the heat probably made your feet perspire and that made them slippy in the shoes, hence the soreness today.

I met a friend for breakfast so had a cup of tea and half a belgian bun and for lunch I had some beans (about a third of a tin) on toast. It just seems hard going at the moment - lets hope it gets better!!

Don't know what to have for tea - might do turkey or might do tuna casserole.
