Just a quick heads up - I am away from this Thursday until the 20th soooooo if someone can do this weekends round up that would be great (or you all wait to log weights until Sunday 21st!)

ooh, I'm a bad person...am I the only one who read this and thought "at least that gives me until the 21st to repair the damage" :o

I didn't want to post my menu yesterday, suffice to say it included eating *that* chocolate instead of a meal, and sharing pizza with DS when he came home. My only saving grace was I had no alcohol, even though I fancied some!

We all have blips officeguru, sometimes big ones! Look at it another way, it may only have postponed you getting to target by week or two, which is no big deal in the great scheme of things :)

    Today
    B: granola
    L: ham salad roll
    D: salad with micro chips
    S: finished yesterdays chocolate

E: 20 minutes in the garden, then I had to come in because (sparrer - get your hat :)) it's TOO HOT :rotfl:

I have foxgloves and roses and monkshood all taller than me in the garden (and a few nettles :o but they're good for butterflies aren't they?) and baby sparrows and a blackbirds nest...it's a lovely place to sit.
I've heard the baby blackbirds cheeping when the parent brings food in, but it's been quiet for a couple of weeks...anyone know if I'll see the babies out later, or do you think somethings happened to them?

They may well have fledged already - I know mine have. The fledglings seem to like my garden as I keep seeing them around - something to do with the handfuls of mealworms I put out for them every day, perhaps. ;)

I've had a change of plan for dinner tonight, as I have a sudden craving for red meat - I've dug a beefburger out of the freezer and will have it with HM guacamole, chilli sauce, the tzatziki LO from the weekend, and a chunk or two of HM bread. Not quite as healthy as the aubergine bake I had planned, but not too bad, I think, as I'm not having cheese on top. (I'm not, I'm not, I'm not. Be good, CCP! ;))
Back after a very long break!

I saw the adults feeding in the garden yesterday (from the window) but no sign of the little ones. I don't have a cat any more, but the neighbours cats pass through (something to do with my lovely catmint to wallow in!)...I hope they haven't met a bad end :(

Hi KW, Hope this was ok. Will stick to Monday if that's the norm. It's just that we were away for a few days, then we had respite at the weekend and then early hospital today.:)

Ellie- the 'little ones' are often bigger than the adults at first because they're so fluffy. Might you have seen the babies and not realised it? They are pretty resourceful though so they might turn up soon :) Our baby blue tits have fledged and I think they have probably gone completely, but you just have to hope they're ok, I suppose. You do your best while you can...

Had to be up very early to go to hospital with 'the person who must not be named', so had an early breakfast of berries and cherries cereal. Took the crochet with me to do in the waiting room. Home mid morning, phone calls, then lunch - cheese sandwich (again) to use up the Brie which no-one else wanted :o Also had a banana, but later a slice of cake just shouted at me to eat it, so I did to shut it up!
Got washing done later, after the washer repair man said that my washer couldn't be repaired so they would replace it :T
I should really work out if this kitchen appliance cover is worth paying or if I would be better off putting the money in a savings account each month. I have had a new fridge door and my washer has been repaired a couple of times over the last couple of years.
I can just about use it but it makes a LOT of noise and I can only use the slow spin, but I'm getting my new one next Monday :T
Dinner was a use up what's in the freezer game - small sausage rolls, boiled potatoes, carrots and peas. I resisted the urge to have ice cream and finished making the crochet bunting instead. I've just had an apple and I'm going to wash the dishes, so bye for now.

Thanks Mrscd, have popped the cake in the fridge!

Not too bad for me today

    B. 2 seedy toast, 2 l/f cheese triangles
    L. Chicken pasta salad, watermelon
    S. 2 thornton chocs that someone brought to work!
    D. Frittata, salad, pot salad, coleslaw, piece of choc/ beetroot cake, jst to check it was nice!

Lots of water, which s good for me as I hardly am ever thirsty and rarely drink throughout the day!
