Welcome SpendlessKaren - I like your name :)

daisiegg I'm just north of you, over the border in Beds so will pick you up on the way down to the coast. If you want to remember which is which there's a song' Sussex by the Sea', there's no sea in Surrey :D

CCP had a look at the website, they say they only sold from vans originally but my Uncle, who had a little seafood cafe near the Pilot Boat, bought it in waxed boxes. I remember I had my first ice cream soda there, and still love it :).

Change of menu, I needed to use up the last couple of eggs so I had scramble and sweet potato chips for dinner.

Have a good rest of the evening, sweet dreams :)

    evening all

pasta lunch was lovely, I got the medium rather than the small today as I got to work uber early and so had more time to munch :o

was rather hungry when I got home, as I was training a girl on bar today, was exhausting work though, especially in this heat!
so dinner turned out to be a cheese, ham and salad sandwich (small slices of bread) and a bag of crisps, followed by half of a large sweet cinnamon pretzel which was om-nom-nom *dribble*
Otherwise, spent a lovely evening relaxing in the garden with the bunnies, going through post over my dinner, with them as company. of course they come up when I'm eating anything so they got a bit of sandwich through the bars :rotfl:

tea was as per aforementioned mealplan :D

havent had any other snacks today unless you want to count the premixed cold can of malibu and coke and the 2 handfuls of salted peanuts ;)

batteries came for digital scale and they have me as 2lbs more than my original start weight so I am a little bit  with that in mind!
also no work for me until Friday (only one show next week) so I am terrified I'm going to gain a bazillion stones!

daisiegg: just a thought as per your hubby working away....is there a chance you could get a pet?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I'm sure spendlesskaren now feels well and truly welcomed!

I'm glad to say the sun did come out today, although the wind kept the temperature down a bit...must have been okay though, neighbour was out sunbathing in his garden, he does like soaking up the sun!

    Eating not so good today
    B: cornflakes etc
    L: cheese and tomato toasty
    S: individual trifle pot
D: medium SM pizza, *another* trifle pot
no exercise, running errands for aunt

And if you look at my menu and think it's not good...it's only a fraction of what I really wanted to eat!
I'm not yet in the position where I'm happy to be eating healthily because it's good for me, I just feel I'm being deprived...I went round SM today and looked at item after item I knew I shouldn't buy...finally settled on pack of 3 trifles.
Tonight I took a bottle of wine out the pantry, considered it, then put it back! If I'd bought chocolate today, I'd be stuffing it in right now...thank goodness I've nothing in the house :)

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Does this mean a 2 pound gain for the week? Is this your official weigh in?

My sciatica returned on Monday, so I've not been able to exercise as much as I wanted to (mostly just done some walking to and from work, and some gentle yoga to ease the pain), but despite this I was pleased to see a 2lbs loss this week!

I think you're right! Any suggestions?! Problem is I am not remotely crafty!

It is scorching here in the south east. All my flowers are dying :(
What about joining some 'clubs'? I'm thinking along the lines of a swimming group or a walking group. Or maybe just because you think you're not 'crafty', it doesn't mean that you actually are - you just haven't found the right 'craft' for you :D

Ccp that ice cream looks good, I am an ice lolly girl myself but I cannot seem to get them home from the store without them melting atm, :eek:will have to pop some juice in the freezer perhaps.
Have you seen Jubblies in the SM? they are little triangular-ish packs of juice that you put in the freezer yourself, so you don't have to worry about them defrosting - they're usually on the end of a row in MrA's.

Well today has been absolutely scorching up here in the NE. I was at work from 9.30 until 6 and it was soooooooooooooo HOT! Everyone kept saying 'How do you manage in here?' I've gone through gallons of water, and I'm sure I was sweating as much as I was putting in :o Not a pretty thought, or sight!

    Foodwise not too bad -
B- muesli, Greek yog & honey - to keep me going until lunch
L- cheese sandwich without the crusts & banana
D- 1/4 pizza, salad, ice cream
S- packet of iced gems, 2 or 3 glasses of diluted apple & elderflower cordial

Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter  I'm afraid I'm no good in hot weather. I must have Viking blood in me ;)
