  • Can you put me down for 2lb loss please ragz.

    Really pleased with that as it's been a really stressful week with DH having to do a eulogy at his granny's funeral and all the complications with his family that went along with it. Fingers crossed back on the right track with things now :j

    Good luck everyone

    Is it too late to join?

    I have a lot to lose (to my mind anyway), about 4 stone will get me down to as low as I can go - which is right at the top end of the BMI recommendation but the lowest I've ever been able to get without the benefit of food poisoning - but I want to do it slowly and aim for 10lb by Easter which should bring me down to 16 stone. I'm cheating a little bit because I actually took the plunge a couple of days ago.

    I'm a low carber, mainly because I'm very high risk for diabetes (was insulin dependent with DS2) but also because a calorie restricted or low fat diet leaves me absolutely ravenous.

    Good afternoon

    Weighed in this morning and its a sts for me this week. Bit down about that as I increased my exercise this week AND stuck to my diet so don't quite know whats going on. I have found this in the past though and I have lost the following week. So with that in mind I will Keep Calm and Carry On!

    After exercise your muscles retain water to help them repair/regenerate, so if you're taxing them more than normal it could lead to you STS. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll see a loss next week :)

    Welcome Daska! You'll find so much support here. I want to lose about 4 stone as well and it's a scary prospect but I'm determined to do it.

    I had a latte this morning. I don't drink coffee very often but I really fancied it today. And I have felt rotten ever since! It really filled me up and so I didn't enjoy my lunch but I knew if I didn't eat lunch I'd be starving later. Now have very dodgy tum and feel mega bloated. Won't be having one of them again!

    Feeling huge today and convinced I've put on weight this week. Since I'll be away on Sunday, weigh day, I'm going to weigh myself a day early and that won't help. Going to try and not worry too much, have a nice dinner while I'm away and then start a fresh on Monday. Have an asda order coming on Sunday night with lots of healthy food and mountains of fruit and veg.

    Thanks for all the support this week when I've felt really low - very much appreciated. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. xxx

    I have lost an amazing 1lb which may not seem all that much but I lose weight like peeling an onion- Slowly, painfully and with many tears along the way.:D

    Hi all,
    I've not posted since I first signed up but I have lost a total of4lbs since I started. Not too bad considering we have had several birthdays in January. I am now really set to try really hard. Hope everyone has had a good week.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Love It.

    Although its been a lovely sunny day here in NE Scotland its beginning to get really chilly now, trying not to have the heating on all day - I have heard that your body uses up more calories when its cold in an attempt to keep you warm.

    Having lost this week I was going to treat myself to a Bacon Sandwich this morning but thought again and will save that for Sunday ;). So had yoghurt & fruit, beans & a poached egg on toast for lunch and just about to have a Bhoona Curry done in the SC, found the recipe somewhere here on the forum but cant remember where - smells great though :D
