    Hi everyone

I have a 1 lb loss to report this week, although tbh it may well be because I've not felt well for a few days and missed a couple of meals..but that's what the scales read, so that's what I'm taking :)

The warm sunny weather has been a real reminder of why I want to lose the weight...it's horrible having to strip off (just a little bit lol) and know I look all podgy and roly poly...that Michelin tyre is still there, whatever happened to my flat stomach? it's under there somewhere :rotfl:

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Morning all, just checking in to report an STS this week. Sitting in car on m-way for hours obviously not conducive to weight loss!

    B - F&F, ss milk
L - out to garden centre for lunch with friend (more interested in the plants than the lunch ;))
D - tba, might not need much after eating out
    S - fruit
E - already done 20 mins gardening, there will be more when I get back from the garden centre, no doubt :o

    Have a sunny day :)

None for me this week but I have had a bad week health wise with extra strong painkillers and blood so fluid retention.

Sparrer - hospital is not conducive to losing weight unless you are a patient which is a surefire way! Hope your DM is well on the way to recovery.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Well after a horrifying mid-week weigh in, i am happy to report a +1lb gain. This is great given that last weekend i was +5lb from my original start weight :eek::eek:

So the self-sabotage is still ongoing but in a controlled manner :o. What can you do, sometimes you are in the zone and sometimes, well, you just want to eat ;)

Need to go clothes shopping for holiday so you'd think that would give me some motivation at least! I bought a pair of jeans this week that are just about comfortable to take with me on hols so that i don't go tooooo wild. I read about the technique in a mag, thought i'd give it a go as i won't have scales etc whilst away but at least i can keep an eye on body shape. I always put on around my waist first so its a good measure for me. Any other tips that people use whilst on hols?

Hope its lovely and sunny wherever you guys are

    Still lurking and plodding away

STS this week but am another one with a scary "after the weekend" weight so I'm actually not unhappy with STS

Maybe this will be the week I really stick to my plan of being good at the weekend too!

Staring off with plans for a walk this evening

well last night I ending up munching a few things after my stirfry but nothing too bad, just a bacon roll and a few jelly sours pic n mix. :)

today got up mega late - evidently still jetlagged - and skipped breakfast AND lunch in order to get to the shops. bought new shirts for work, some new underwear and flat shoes (New Look do these black soft soled flats that I have for driving, so comfy!), along with a pain au choc and a bottle of water. :o

Also got DM a new mug (one of her old ones broke a few weeks ago, and she chipped another last night) and some pretty orangey coloured carnations.

so lets see: late lunch was a dairylea, ham and lettuce sandwich (2 small slices ww bread), crisps, rest of pain au choc + water.
dinner will be hotdogs using frozen sausages and rolls.

oh and I got a email this afternoon from a form I sent off a day or so ago, they've approved my application so I'm going to be a Mystery Shopper! :D

Still going in the right direction, with another 1lb lost this week! After work today I walked home the long way, which only added an extra five minutes to the journey, but every little helps, lol!

Although I've only been on my diet for less than 4 weeks, I'm already feeling fitter, and was even able to run up the stairs at work earlier in the week without almost dying, lol, usually I'm struggling for breath halfway up when just walking! Also this week I've been doing the 30 day squat challenge, which I signed up for on myfitnesspal, still got to do today's 80 squats but I've been managing to do them so far.

    Hi All

Sorry it is a late post.... I went and got unexpected visitors... Congrats to all who lost weight or stayed the same... I would like to say I stayed the same but that was if I moved the scales all over the room.... so I am sorry to say that I put + 1 lb this week.. I could blame it on many things but I went and had two egg sandwiches and managed to munch my way through half a pkt of biscuits... so it serves me right !!!
