Dragon, I won't weigh in this Friday, but more than happy for you to update the list, just put me as +3lbs? :)

Pretty sure I can shed most of it by the NEXT weigh in (ie: the 14th) lol

Hmm is this that you have put three pounds on or that you are now three pounds over your starting weight?

Nice to see you back, theatregirl... I hope you enjoyed NY...

Hi Daisiegg.. Glad to hear that your foot is mending and that your life is getting back to normal... Don't fret about the weight you put on.. just you concentrate on the weight you are going to lose... If it was easy, we would all be stick insects..

    Bye for now...

Sorry, let me see if I can make this clear lol

My loss according to your last list was -3.5lbs

And I'm now + 6lbs from having eaten so much. :rotfl:

So that kind of cancels out my original loss, so put me as +2.5lbs on your list, I'll be looking to lose the 6lbs.

    Hi Sparrer,

We must both be busy doing the same things.. I am busy emptying out old pots and tipping the compost into the chooks so that they can eat the creepy crawlies.. I then rake the lot up and put it into my compost bin and, after it has been mixed with the chicken poo over the coming months, I should have good compost for next year.. I have to be careful with using old compost as I don't want any new plants munched by a vine weavil so that's why I let the chickens take care of that... :T

I think I am going to get a good crop of apples, pears and plums this year as the blossom didn't get caught with the frost.. I know it is later but it is always a trade-off. :)

I am going to be eating out this evening as we have to go and get chicken feed so I'll pop into one of the local eateries nearby... We are fortunate in that it doesn't cost much to eat here... Go a few miles up the coast to St Andrews or Falkland and you'll pay a fortune... One of the places wanted £16 per head of tea & scones... per person... They must think we are zipped up the back... I mean, tea is just flavoured water and a scone is just basic... I could get a steak meal with wine for the two of us for that !!! And not just in Wetherspoons either ....

    Take care ....

Sorry, Muckymoo, I didn't see your post in time to comment ... I'll keep my fingers crossed for you at the weigh-in !!

    hello all

simple food today, jetlagged as all heck!
went out to Mr T's to get restocked, lots of fruit, veg, meat and other stuff into the trolley, only visited the freezer aisle to get a pack of frozen Quorn chicken, nothing else!

skipped breakfast as I slept in till noon and wasnt really hungry at all, so just had a cuppa!
lunch was a Rustler's chicken burger (cooked in microwave) with salad and then a Mr K mini apple pie with three mini chocolates :o
dinner is going to be chicken (from the hot deli section) and rice
probably pudding as well but dont know what atm.

eta: no pudding lol. just 1 chocolate covered crunchie biscuit and another cuppa x 2

  • short post - having a day in to recuperate from madness yesterday :rotfl:

so have been in my room sorting out, decided to go through papers I keep in two boxes and several files (mostly relating to my late DDads passing, finances etc). Shredded a whole bag of paper and had a whole pile of stuff for recycling! Didnt realise I had that much to throw out!

Taking a lunch break now for good behaviour :D

b (if you can call it that at 11.30am) - 1 crumpet with spread, mini apple pie, cuppa tea
l - chicken sandwich on 2 small slices ww bread, 2 tsps honey and mustard dressing, crisps, cereal bar.
d - havent decided yet. might cook stirfry and have that since the ingredients are in the fridge. probably pudding too but dont know what (again!)
