Despite a few blips this week, I'm pleased to report another 2lbs lost, taking me to my first 7lb milestone! I did half an hour on the wii fit this morning, first time since the first day of my diet, and I also did a lot of sorting out and cleaning in the shed, which must have used a few calories. Just had a jacket potato with beans for dinner tonight, and some natural yoghurt with fresh blueberries and peach for dessert.

Some good tips there OG, thanks. I use an entree plate for my meals which helps me to eat less each meal. I lived in Letchworth for 13 years, moved here (a few miles up the road) 10 years ago but still go there for Lidl and a couple of other shops. And not keen on yogurt either.
Happy anniversary for tomorrow, enjoy the cal/carb/fat free cyber cake ;)

    :bdaycake:

Today was the usual eating on the hoof disaster
L - lentil bake in hosp cafe, was mediocre but cheap
T - bought a prawn mayo sandwich, tub of prepared fruit and a packet of crisps to eat on the way home. The hosp has an M&S food hall by the car park so handy (too handy!) to pop into to get a snack
Usual rubbish journey on M-ways took hours again, wish there was a different route but if would probably be just as congested on a Friday afternoon.
S had a sliver of birthday cake to celebrate DM's 92nd. Grapes, melon.
    E - none :o
Looking forward to a lie-in tomorrow. Sweet dreams :)

    STS again this week :(

And now I'm off for a couple of days so don't know how well I'll control what I eat...I'll stick to only eating when I'm hungry.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Morning all. Creeping in this morning to own up to a 1lb gain. Have to admit that it was my own fault as we were away last weekend at DGD2's christening and there was lots of party food and alcohol. We did have a great weekend though and I'm back to healthy eating now.

Hope everyone has a good week

    Hi Sparrer,

Thanks for the cyber cake.... It was lovely by the way... !!!

I have had a lovely day... He actually agreed to be my slave all day and not argue with me... so I had him helping me in the garden... I got him to dig up some huge shrubs that were finished... I know it sounds cruel but it made my anniversary... I enjoyed having him help me so we were working away drinking several bottles of wine and I made home-made potato bread so we were munching that as well...

I ended up having pork and salad for tea... He had offered to take me somewhere nice but I am not keeping well so I wasn't able to leave the house.... Hopefully, we will be able to go out tomorrow for a wee while and I'll be at his beck and call for the day... and as Monday is a holiday here, we'll do something nice then too...

I weighed myself before the drinkypoo and the potato bread and I lost 1 lb ... Catch up with you all again soon...

Happy weekend everyone! Hope we're all ok?

Back from visiting family and got really fed up with my mum almost trying to force feed me!
Apparently I am now "too thin" (huh? I'm 9st 10ish and 5 ft 5 so hardly a stick!) and I don't eat like "a normal person".
She's always had a thing about me being a veggie but now it seems that because I've lost around 2 stone (most of it last year) and kept it off she's almost verging on jealous. Strange!
I went swimming early yesterday morning and then had the "why are you doing that? You don't need to lose more" lecture - I do it because I enjoy it and its good for you and it means I can have a glass of wine without worrying about it. Families eh???

Anyway, I've just whizzed round the supermarket and have plenty of good stuff in for the week - so no excuses.
Off to mow the lawn if my feeble "skinny" body will take it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
