    Welcome to the group!

If you want to join in the tail end of this challenge you are more than welcome :D

Thank you - I'll be your dog end :rotfl:

I think you have around 3 weeks to go so I will aim for 5 lbs and then if you have another challenge I'll consider the duration and set an appropriate target.

officeguru - lol, you're the second person to comment on me being able to "get away" with what I eat, if only that was true!

Unfortunately I have inherited my mothers sweet tooth and theres always something sweet in the house. Oreos are the worst (not my bunny, the edible sort), and so are crisps.
Oh well, lifes too short not to have treats I think! As long as its all in moderation :)

I'm still trying to get that other 2lbs off I acquired from NYC! :rotfl:
Kind of want my belly to flatten out a bit again, and I have this kind of roll (?) just under the top of my chest which reappeared during NYC and I have to shift again (it's icky). But that'll go through exercise I'm sure.

ellie - bless your heart about everything. *hugs*

Sorry, Theatregirl, I didn't mean to give offence.. I just smile every time I read your menu lists... There is always some little goodie in there !!! I have to avoid sweet stuff like the plague as it is too easy to overdo it... :)
  • No offence taken whatsoever :) I have to have my goodies!

Theatregirl, I'm exactly the same as officeguru...I smile when I read your menus, because I know from years of experience if I ate the same I'd be putting on weight! I always think you can do it because you must use up loads of calories at work, you lucky thing :)
The one I liked recently was when you said you'd had a snack after a meal..."nothing too bad, just a bacon roll and a few sweets"...that had me laughing :)

Joanne109...I weigh the same as you, and my target is much the same...I know a stone off would make me feel much more "like myself", and 25 lbs off would take me back to what I was the last couple of years, when I felt really happy with my shape (I still have my clothes saved for when I get there :rotfl:). I'm finding it harder to lose weight the older I get, it used to come off much easier!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

:rotfl: It could have been worse, all the fat was drained off it, and the sweets were NYC pic n mix! It could have been 12 icecreams and I didnt hide any of it in the garden or on the wardrobe :P

anyway today I fell off the wagon (yes, that was the thud you heard), because I havent been feeling well. I cannot seem to shake this jet lag despite going to bed at a reasonable hour and trying to sleep through the night, but I'm sleeping later than I should be.

I ate fine this morning (about 11am), just a small turkey rasher and mushroom sandwich, but after that I came over very groggy.

This afternoon I felt so lethargic and drained and just so totally out of it. So I went down the bad route and ordered takeaway, save having to do anything in the kitchen, didnt finish it but I put the leftovers into the bin so I wouldnt be tempted, the only plus is that I wont be eating for the rest of the night as I feel so full! (and I ate at 6pm!)

However feeling better now, so to compensate I did the dishes, cleaned the rabbits, sorted laundry and tidied up. lol

Anyhoo, lol....enough of my rambling. :o

Wardrobe ????? Who hides stuff (white toblerone maybe, Italian nougat maybe) on top of the wardrobe ?????

Just so that I can sleep tonight... How were the mushrooms cooked for the mushroom sandwich ?????? The only mushroom sandwich I like is when the mushrooms are fried and the bread has been buttered.. If I take the healthy option, I used to put a little soy sauce on the mushrooms while they were cooking ... Ohhhh the pounds that these used to put on me..... Ohhh the taste of the mushroom sandwich......
