Hi All,
I wish my mother said the same as all the others... Ever since I was about 13, she has always said 'you could do with losing a bit of weight '... and she has said a variation of that on every visit... She has never once said anything positive about me.. but I am starting to sound pathetic now and that's not going to happen !!!!
Well this week, after I at the ice-cream with the white chocolate polar bears, I was determined to be good.. :A Well, the dumpling I am married to went and bought a bag of ripple crisps... Well, I love them and managed to hoover through 3 bags of them... no willpower !!!and then the other day another half-wit (myself) saw apple doughnuts in Morrisons reduced to 15p.... well, I couldn't let a bargain like that go passed me so I bought them !!!
Big mistake.... I managed to eat myself through 4 of them within two days ... (That sounds not too bad, but it was really - the evening and then the next morning...)
I threw them in the bucket before I ate the other 2....
So all in all, the lesson is... don't have anything in the house that is irresistible ... otherwise it gets eaten !!!)
I wasn't going to step on the scales this morning (wii) but I thought about everyone else who is honest and says when they put on weight so I did.... and I couldn't believe it.... I STS
This is not getting repeated next week... I am not going to put back all the weight I have lost... but it goes to show how easy it is to slip back into old habits given half a chance !!!
Good luck to everyone else....
I am off to work in the garden....0 -

This is so true OG, not having things in the house has saved me many times...and I'm glad I don't have a corner shop nearby!
Does your dumpling not like apple doughnuts, to help you eat them? They don't do anything for me, I wouldn't bother to eat one (now pizza and chips, that's a different matter :rotfl:)
I think you've upset sparrer :rotfl:
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

I am so sorry Sparrer, but I would have eaten the whole six of them to myself.... It was just as well that they weren't cinnamon doughnuts as I would have ate the 6 !!!
Next time you come up to Scotland, we will sit in my garden and you can eat your way through doughnuts and I'll get the toblerone down off the top of the cupboard and we will have a 'munchie day' ...
How does that sound ????0 -
Afternoon all
Lost 1/2lb today.
Longer post will come later, bit of a headache coming on right now0 -
Todays food
B: cornflakes, ss milk, sultanas
L: cheese and onion toastie, coleslaw, salad, hot chocolatetomato and broccoli quiche, veg, potato wedges (sprayed with one cal fry light)
Had a late lunch at a local garden centre...I was intending to only have a coffee, but working on the theory that I should only eat when I'm hungry...I was hungry! it works both ways
It might not look like it, but I was actually quite good...this garden centre has the best banoffi pie in the country, and I resisted it! (I managed it by getting my toastie, and saying if I still wanted the pie after the toastie, I'd go back and get it then...and of course I wasn't hungry then and didn't bother going back...it's all mental manipulation)

Evening all.
Had a bit of a nap and so headache has gone off
Simple kind of day with food
b - 2 rashers bacon, 3 tomatoes, 1 large tomato, slice of wm bread
l - bagel with butter, mac & cheese pot
d - cheesy bacon pasta with LOTS of salad
snackies - piece of cake, 2x aero yoghurt, 1 digestive biscuit
Managed to get all my chores and other stuff sorted including bills prior to going away. Still havent heard back from interview people  so rather than waste time I have sent them another email. If I dont hear back from that one I will assume I have been unsuccessful and lay it to rest.
Anyway, just have work tomorrow night and then my schedule is clear other than final packing and friend coming round Sunday night. Quite excited now but DM isnt looking forward to being left alone much, cant say I blame her but it makes mea little bit.
Anyway! Not very lovely weather today so only been out so DM can stock up for next week. I have a few things like portioned meals and some rice, pasta, etc in storage and that will be fine for when I come back from my jaunts0 -
Morning all! I'm checking in with a 1lb loss :j
Had a very peculiar week which included the start of a new fling with a fellow teacher - I am officially a wanton woman these days :rotfl:It has been 3 years though so I think I'm allowed! I've gone all Waterloo Road on you!
I do need to get a grip though and make sure that I get slimmer as its quite daunting having your kit off in front of someone else :rotfl:
A day of sorting out the garden today - will be knackered by the end of it as its such a mess.:o0 -
You can eat whatever you like but just a small amount about you fist size. Dp a daily exercise like jogging for 5-10 min. Then you can lose weight.0
