  • Oh dear.....I unravelled rather quickly today...was doing so well too.

Breakfast and lunch were pretty much a non event - had a normal breakfast, just cheese on toast, then hm stirfry for lunch at work, little mini freddo bar as a snack.
Then when I got home I was starving and its my last day of work for ages now so I decided to treat myself to pizza.....and had half a medium pizza with stuffed crust, plus some wedges and some chicken strips....

There is some left over so I have put it in the fridge....wondering how long it will be before I am tempted tomorrow to finish it...lol.

  • Ok I have decided to be sensible and eat the rest of the l/o pizza for dinner LOL.

Breakfast this morning was cheese on toast, followed by a fruit pot and a crunchie bar. Then had some crisps as a snack and will be making tuna pasta for a late lunch.

Think I've done quite well on damage control there :)

Exercise wise: weeded and swept the garden today, and cleaned out both the bunny hutches as well. Done some other odd jobs and have more to do. Hopefully that should burn off a slice or two :rotfl:

B - Spicy fruity porridge, ss milk. Cut down from 6oz made up portions to 4oz, didn't suffer for it this morning!
D - Was to be haggis, neeps and tatties but only just got in so will have a mini shepherds pie and lots of veg. From now on I'm going to try to put all meat dishes in ramekins for freezing and will have a good plate of veg with it.
Supper if hungry - hm chicken soup, 1/2 thin slice hm bread (had to make some as had none in when I got back from hols, but won't eat it like I used to!)
    S - fresh fruit
    E - Ironing, gardening.

Am looking into getting an air walker - has anyone tried them? If so was it successful?

    Hi All,

Sparrer, how did you get on in Scotland ??? I don't know what an airwalker is either .... Is it that thingy that you walk and move your arms at the same time... like you are going across country on a set of skis ???? If not, is it something that makes you weigh less when you stand on a set of scales ??? :rotfl::rotfl:

Savesummore How come you have a battered fish and bounty choc bar on your menu ???? Is the bacon & egg sandwich better than bacon and egg with toast ??? I hope the new potatoes haven't butter on them !!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I'm just jealous.... I couldn't eat only half a bounty bar... I forgot about these and they would have to go on top of the wardrobe with the toblerone !!! Can you get white chocolate Bounty bars ??? Just thought I would ask...

This weekend I've been pretty good.. I had a breakfast on Saturday morning... bacon & egg & tomato but I wasn't really hungry so I had broken my golden rule to only eat when I am hungry... so I'll have to watch that I don't fall into old ways.. Tonight I had braised steak that I had done in a tomato sauce with stuffed peppers... I would have had to watch the stuffing, but I didn't like it so I'll be giving it to the chooks tomorrow.. I also made some soup - A couple of breasts of chicken thrown into some water with 2 stock cubes... with a couple of handfuls of frozen mixed veg, dried parsley and 1 chopped up potato... I also threw in some chives... So that was that...

Tomorrow, I hope to work in the garden again so I'll be busy, busy, busy... and thank you Mrs Dragon for all the effort you go to... :T

Bye for now ... but I will be back :A

Some people were quite helpful and some were down right rude. One particular harumphing individual actually snorted, looked at me and said "trust you to be difficult it's not like you are vastly obese" :o

Ok so I am not the largest person for my stature, but surely if you offer people food options and they ask for a salad this is not the be all and end all?

What a rude person, missrlr :( Well done you for asking for what YOU want, and not just accepting what they decide to give you. If you had a medical condition like gallstones, say, you would need a low fat option, but it would still not be any of their business, so what on Earth gives them the right to say anything to you!!!!! It makes me so mad that people can judge you just by what their opinion is of what you should do. Stick to your guns gal :T

Anyhow, off the soapbox. I haven't weighed in this week as I didn't have time before dashing off to work the last couple of days, so I'm going to be kind to myself and wait until next Friday and get up earlier ;) I'm not convinced I've lost anything though :( Well done all the 'losers' :)

ssm I'm not sure an air walker is fun yet but it's said to help peeps with back probs/arthritis/breathing probs etc, and maybe burn a few cals and tone the body at the same time. If it does half of that then I'll agree it's fun to use! :D

og yes that's the one. The ski-type thingy, not the wonder weigher :rotfl:. Less strenuous than a cross trainer, which used to almost kill me when I went to the gym . Re Scotland, Oban is an amazing place and I'd go back any time, even though it rained at least part of every day. The people I was staying with were both heavy smokers so I went out as much as I could, luckily took me trusty neb and managed okay. We did a tour of the islands - Mull, Iona etc, got there on the early ferry so the mist was still on the fields. Cows look so funny when you can only see their bodies floating on 'clouds'! :D

theatregirl I've read back but can't see if you've put anything about your last interview. Any news?

    Sweet dreams :)

eta admission - I had two pieces of shortbread at lunchtime :o
