    Hi everyone

Can I join in again please? I was with you all most of last year and did really well but then life got in the way!!

A very quick run down- my 12 year relationship came to an end (mutual so although very upsetting im ok now) so since end November ive done no exercise and for about 6 weeks ate next to nothing mainly because after 2 yrs i started smoking again :( so lost about 5 LBS without trying taking me to about 9.5 stone but since then ive ate nothing but absolute c**p and now think im approx 10stone :( i will weigh myself in the morning and confirm

My life still alittle upside down as im currently staying with a friend but the lack of exercise, smoking , extra weight and eating rubbish is really taking its toll so i need a collective kick up the backside pls!!

I havent caught up on posts so can someone advise how long left in this challenge pls

    Hello again!
I've missed you and the swimming updates! Hope you're OK?
I too have been AWOL - a combination of Ofsted inspection, family bereavement and trips home to Wales as a consequence and a manically busy job for the past few weeks.
But, like you, I'm going to delurk again and get stuck in.
I weighed this morning and am now 5lbs hgeavier than my lightest weight last year so I need to get a grip again.
    Lets have a go together?

I've also done little exercise in the past month or so and food has consisted of the easiest and most calorific stuff possible at times.

But there's nothing that can't be undone with a bit of work so I'm jumping back in again (if you'll all have me?)

7 weeks - 5 lbs could go in that time!

Are you wanting to join in the challenge?

If you mean the losing weight by the end of June challenge, then yes I will. I'll try for 10 pounds please.

Well my first day went really well. First thing this morning I got on the wii fit (apparently it's been 255 days since I last used it :o), and did 46 minutes of exercise using 147 calories. For breakfast I had 2 weetabix, with semi skimmed milk and a black coffee, for lunch I had a ham sandwich, snacked on 2 plums at work, and for dinner I had a jacket potato with healthy choice baked beans, and 14 grams of sunflower spread. This evening I've just had 1 cup of tea, with semi skimmed milk, and I've also drunk loads of water throughout the day.

I've finally started using the 'myfitnesspal' app, that I downloaded ages ago, lol, and have tracked everything on there, including the walk to and from work (only 10 minutes each way, but every little helps, lol!). I've not eaten enough today, as I still had over 500 cals left from my allowance, but I will probably make up for that tomorrow as I'm planning on making a shepherds pie for dinner. I will make smaller portions than usual, and fill up with veggies.

Not a bad day so far - 7 portions of F&V, a bit of exercise and no chocolate! (although its not bed time yet!)
Had some pasta with an arrabiata sauce for tea and have a small portion to take to work tomorrow for lunch.

Felt more in control of food today - lets hope it continues!

Well done to everyone's who's doing well.

I'm afraid I've totally given up this week...I've not been crazy overeating or anything like that, but I've been eating like I would if I wasn't trying to lose weight, so will probably have a gain on Friday. My brain just isn't thinking "diet", I have no motivation at all.

I have to be away over the weekend, so I'll give myself until next week, then get back into it...one day we might have some sunshine and I'll be cursing that I gave up, when I need to wear some summer clothes and show a bit of flesh!

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

Not too bad a day - could have been better but it could have been a whole lot worse ;)

I feel less bloated and my tummy has gone down quite a bit (flipping hormones:mad:) so thats encouraging.

Will try to keep battling on tomorrow....
