Oh dear OG, I am sorry to hear you're having such a difficult time. No wonder you're having to take your trousers in, but not the best way to lose weight. It's hard but lou must leave all of it behind and concentrate only on your very much needed holiday.
Now two of you are away from Scotland as I head that way, I'm really beginning to think it's something I said :D. Still watching the weather, it's much colder up there so lots of warm clothes washed.

Very bad day food wise, as using up fresh stuff
    B - F&F, ss milk
L - chicken and lettuce wm roll, apple
    T - cheese & pickle toastie.
    S - satsuma, grapes, melon
E - cleaned all through upstairs, 3 loads of laundry ironed, dog brushed & paws trimmed. He has feet again!

    Hi Sparrer

No, it was nothing you said !!!! You have a lovely time up here.. The weather has been quite fine... We think that the winter has finally been given a shift.. But I am in the east and my sister, who lives near Stirling has had it a lot wetter and colder than me.. I am also lucky that I have a sunken garden so I get very little wind (hence the washing takes longer to dry) and it is a sun trap... so I hope you have a lovely time.

    Take care

I'm off to tidy up the kitchen....
  • Hello all

Been so hungry today, really bizarre, I must have overdone it last week and be fueling up ready for the loooooong week ahead. Interview tomorrow at 10.30am, need to be up at 8.15 to prep and sort out my clothes for it, dead nervous.

Was reading through my feedback from my last box office interview (the one I had about 2 weeks ago now) and they said I needed to come up with creative, dynamic ways of selling the product - and I just have NO idea what to do with that. I mean it's just tickets....I dont really know how to push a product that someone either wants or doesnt....ugh so confusing!

anyhoo, mealplan, then zz time for me!

    b - special k cereal with milk.
l - cheese and ham sandwich, special k crisps.
    d - h/m beef rice, apple
t - lasagna & salad (didnt finish the portion tho)
snacks - hm apple turnover, 3 biscuits, chocolate yoghurt.
  • Hello all,

Just catching up with the thread as been super-busy with the weeding over the weekend. All went well and the best thing is that DH got some lovely shots of us together and we looked good  You can see the weight loss now, which is great motivation to keep going.

But then.....we were so tired after the wedding that we had chips, garlic pizza bread and butties for dinner :rotfl:

    Anyway, onwards and downwards.

    Today:

B: Skinny latte, 2 satsumas and a free pack of weetabix breakfast biscuits (they were ok but i wouldn't pay for them!)
    S: nothing
L: Egg salad with a bit of potato salad
    S: 1 bag of 100kcal llamas
D: Cheese and quorn ham toastie, veggies
    S: I mini feast

    Exercise:
45 min walk to work and back
Potential Gym session in the afternoon (depends how work pans out today)

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine, its beautiful here today :T

    Thanks OG, enjoy your hoiliday.

    B - F&F, ss milk
D - last of the chicken and salad, few sweet potato wedges. Apple
T - cheese & pickle toastie on 2 slices WW Danish. Pack of WW wrap cheeselets. Nana
    S - satsuma, grapes, melon
E - 2x10 mins, almost last of the house work, just the floors to wash tomorrow. Why do we do this with such fervour when we go away? My [STRIKE]excuse[/STRIKE] reason is that if there's a fire I don't want the firemen to think I'm a messy s.o.b!

    Enjoy the sunshiny evening :)
  • evening all :) (or is that good morning?)

Interview today went well I think - I spent a HOUR in there talking to the interviewers! Just got to wait for the outcome now, the bit I hate the most!! Really used feedback from last interview to help me through this, hope I covered everything.

Food not great again today, skipped usual breakfast due to being up early and being in a bit of a tizz. Think it helped me to concentrate though, weirdly enough.

    b - special k cereal bar
l - ham, cheese & salad sandwich, special k crisps
d - h/m portion of stirfry, slice bread with spread.
snacks - half a bag of wispa pieces, half a apple turnover, and my freebie piece of chicken from KFC :o

    Hi,

    Can I join you all?

I want to lose weight, without joining any groups, whilst still sticking to my £140 a month food budget for me, hubby and two girls (2 & 3) and cooking from scratch, without cooking separate meals for me!

    Phew, not many conditions!

Ideally I want to lose 4 stone, but am giving myself a year to do it in, am aiming for next summer

    Today I've had:-

B: nothing (naughty but in a rush to get out)
L: half a cheese and ham baguette, cherry toms, yoghurt, mini roll
D: Spanish style omelette, using up bits and pieces from the fridge.

I've been using the myfitnesspal app, found that really useful, also started seen a health trainer through the NHS last week, another 5 visits left!

I think I undid all my good efforts of the weekend last night :(

I'd arranged to go out for a meal with a friend I haven't seen for ages, and she confirmed it was ok in the morning. Spent the day painting...still very slowly!...and looking forward to a much needed catch-up. Made a meal for the rest of the family, and was just dishing it up, when she phoned to cancel because she'd had a bad day at work. An hour before we were meant to be meeting. And I hadn't made enough food to stretch for me to have any! It's not the first time she's cancelled, she says she wants to keep in touch, but then doesn't make the effort.

So...that's all my excuses, because they are just excuses, nobody forced the food into my mouth...but my brain went "well, I still deserve a nice night, I should still have a treat to eat". I had pizza (small 6 inch), I had chips, I had beer :o

Will I ever change my eating habits enough that when I think TREAT I don't immediately go to the same old fattening foods?
I feel like I'm never going to lose this weight, and it's all my own fault :(
