As expected, a STS this week. However, with the food I've eaten I deserve a gain, so I am pleased really!

theatregirl....well done of course!!....but I do hate you a little bit! :rotfl: if I ate what is in your meal plans every day I would gain a couple of lbs each week! So jealous! :rotfl:

(Not meaning to be horrible of course - just jealous!)

No offence taken. But personally I think my meal plans are much better than they used to be. In addition.....I do run around a hell of a lot at work, stairs, etc. I presume when I am bit more lax in a few weeks a couple of lbs may find their way back...but I hope not.

HOWEVER. saying that, today has been a really horrible food day, think I am running on reserve power. deffo know I need a rest, before I do 9 shifts over 6 days (I must be insane). and yes, I am working the Bank Holiday.....

    b - 2 rashers bacon, 1 large tomato, 3 mushrooms.
l - small steak and kidney pie (didnt eat all the pastry though) potato wedges, beef sandwich, plus a chocolate yoghurt.
    d- mini burger, crisps.
snacks - special k bar, several slices of chocolate orange :o

Funny sort of day foodwise, meals have been a bit erratic..
B - F&F with ss milk at 6am! Because my little boy cat was crying :(. He's been very vocal since we lost his sister, needing masses of attention.

Missed lunch so had chicken salad with sweet potato wedges at 5pm. Perhaps call it high tea? Trying to eke out the salad stuff so having a couple of slices of tomato, 1/2" cucumber, 1/2 a beetroot etc, per meal, as I don't want to do any more fresh food shopping this week.
    S - grapes, melon, satsuma, 1/2 nana
E - 2x10 mins, pulled all the weeds from the front paving slabs

    Enjoy your evening :)
  • another horrible food day lol....although I am extremely tired and have taken advantage of my first day off all week (since Wednesday) and the fact it is my only day off till NEXT Sunday.....ergh.

did manage to make some mini apple turnovers today with l/o filo pastry which has defrosted in the fridge after being in the freezer for 9 months lol.....

b- 2 turkey rashers, 1 large tomato, 3 mushrooms, slice bread w/ spread
    l - 2 fishfingers, 1 waffle, 3 onion rings, salad, slice of bread w/spread
d - mini ham and p/apple pizza, ww garlic bread, salad
snacks - rest of chocolate orange (oops), special k cereal bar, h/m mini apple turnover

pleased to say I managed to get through the weekend without overeating...no takeaway...I did have pizza, but it was 4 slices of a frozen one from the supermarket, which means I can work out the calories. So I'm the same weight as last Friday, which is good.

Today is not going so well though :)

I ache all over...I've had tins of paint sitting for months because I was just about to paint my living room and dining room (it's all one big room) when I hurt my back last year. I really didn't want to do it, but I was getting so down sitting looking at the rooms desperately needing decorated. So I've decided to do it slowly...today I moved the lighter furniture in the dining room, and painted the ceiling and edges...and now I can hardly move, there's not a bit of me that doesn't hurt :(
So it might take me a few weeks to get it all done, but I'll get it finished eventually.

And it made me very peckish...so I've had 3 digestives with spread AND cheese on...mmm they were nice, it was a struggle to stop at 3!

Because I'm so sore I don't feel like standing cooking (good excuse!) so I'm planning macaroni cheese and a few chips, which doesn't sound very low calorie :o
Oh well, I'll try harder tomorrow.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

    Hi All

Sorry not to have been posting lately but we are having problems with the elderly in-laws.. His dad has been in respite and just before we had spent days trying to arrange for him to go into independent living with support (we never thought it would be suitable as he can hardly walk from his chair to the coffee table, ) he was rushed into hospital again.. It took a day and a half to manage to speak to anyone at the hospital, who told us that, as well as the mini stroke, he also had fluid in the lungs and he would be in hospital for at least a week..(The hospital is 50 miles away)... and before the afternoon was out, we got a phone call from the respite home that he was back there !!! He can only stay there for a little while and I am at my wits end going round and round on a merry-go-round..

I have already told the people in charge, social workers etc, that we are going to Milan on Wed/Thursday, so they will have to make the decisions in the meantime....

I also had a cat to home.... I told the charity that I was going away months ago and that I couldn't have a cat nearer the time... but luckily, I managed to get him homed at the weekend.. He has went to a lovely family near Perth.... and because I have lost so much weight, I am trying to take in trousers and tops to take with me and I am running out of time....

Tomorrow, I'll have to get stuff for the chickens so that my neighbour can look after them for me... and then I will have to start packing.... My mind has gone a blank where my Italian is concerned and I am trying to think of anything I have forgotten, but I am determined to forget about everything while I am away and enjoy myself with my son and beloved.....

I hope you all carry-on losing weight while I am gone and I'll catch up at the end of next week...

I am thinking of you all ... :)
