That's an amazing loss, I'm mega impressed :T
Did you do a lot of exercise as well?

Thank you to everyone for the nice comments, etc
I am expecting feedback from the interviewer sometime in the next week so will see what they have to say. In any case back to the old 2nd job hunt; there are a couple of positions that I've seen I want to try for so maybe I'll have better luck there.
Back to work tomorrow evening and have a loooooong stretch of shift after shift after shift so end of May's pay will be better!
Anyhow out again this afternoon lol - off to see Olympus Has Fallen - cant waittaking my own food with me too so I dont pig out!

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear
, all week I've really made an effort and been so good (except for one chocolate digestive) until today when DD and I went girlie shopping and she bought lunch of a quarter pounder with cheese, and chips. I told her it's weigh day tomorrow but she wouldn't listen, dragged me kicking and screaming into Mackie D's and forced all that disgusting food down my throat...
(Okay, so I was never good at fibs and in fact I did enjoy it, not least because I didn't pay)
B - F&F ss milk
L - as above
T- Salad sandwich of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, 1/2 hard boiled egg, rf mayo in 2 slices Danish 1 slice w/rf spread, 1 with rf philly.
S - Grapes, melon, satsuma
E - 5 hours shopping. How tiring it is trying on clothes! Washed kitchen floor

Did you do a lot of exercise as well?
not really at all.... i pop to the gym on average 2-3 times a week, but only do 20 minutes on the exercise bike each time. the weight-loss is mainly due to reducing portion size and cutting out extras. if i had soup for lunch i would just have the soup; no bread with it, no crisps or yoghurt or chocolate biscuit afterwards. i made sure i had a good breakfast with some protein (like this morning i have had 2 wholemeal bread rolls with some slices of Polish turkey sausage.) it's all to do with just cutting down, but still allowing yourself the foods you enjoy. my weight-loss blog is http://threestoneinthreemonths.blogspot.co.uk/ i was also raising money for a charity during the challenge, which helped with motivation and keeping momentum going!0 -

Everything you say is more or less what I'm already doing (apart from when I have a blip)...cut down portion sizes, no extras, soup with no bread...yet my average loss is 1 lb a week.
I would LOVE to lose 3 lb a week, but just don't know how to achieve that and still eat.
I looked at your blog, and I know if I ate what you ate the last few days I would not lose weight. But looking at your name on the blog, I'm guessing you're a guy? I suppose that's what makes the difference, because men need more calories each day?
You're proof that consistently eating healthy food in the right amounts works. I'll keep plodding on with my slow weight loss, and try not to be frustrated that it's not faster!
Well done for raising the money for charity :j

Well done on all the weight losses.
I can report a -1/2 lb, bit disappointed as wanted more than that and have been good most of the week, aside from last weekend. Will just have to be better this week. Am getting back into the habit of walking to work as well as home. The only draw back of walking home is I walk past an amazing chip shop that I am tempted to go into on a daily basis! :rotfl:
B- chocolate porridge
L- lentil pate, melba toast, carrot, melon, grapes and strawberry fruit bar
D- no idea! DH is away for the weekend so just me. I may make the most of it and have a jacket potato (DH doesn't like them for some strange reason)
E- walking to and from work (about 5 miles)0
