Hi everyone.....(sticks her head round the door)........have you room for another one?? I'd like to join you if possible? I have gradually allowed my weight to creep up - but am determined to do something about it :j.

My aim is to lose around 13lbs:mad: I'll be doing this by trying to eat healthily (but cheaply ;)) and increasing my exercise! There is no expensive gym membership.....so any exercise needs to be free or very cheap!

Yesterday I did quite well - only really bad things I ate were 2 squares of chocolate & a bag of crisps:o. I also went for a run yesterday.......did start running last year (doing the couch to 5K programme) but stopped due to a holiday & never restarted:(. I find I need people to do it with me to help me get motivated! Am restarting properly with my normal running buddies tomorrow!

My other aim is to ensure I get my 5 a day - this is something I've never really done. Yesterday I think I achieved it with melon, grapes, banana, 2 satsumas & then onions/mushrooms in a spag Bol.

Today I intend to do a Wii Zumba workout......I find this good fun but it does get the heart pumping!:D

    Today's meal plan is:

Breakfast: branflakes with semi skim milk, melon
Lunch : whole meal sandwich with ham, salad (if I've got any :rotfl:) & cucumber. Banana, 2 satsumas.
Dinner: turkey roast dinner & veg - new pots rather than mash & maybe just one roast pot;)
Snacks: maybe a slice of fruit tea loaf (will make this later..)

I'm also planning to try & cut out sugar in my tea.....I only have a half teaspoon currently so just need to force myself to get used to it! I will also restart taking a daily vitamin.....have been feeling very worn out of late- another reason I want to look at my diet & increase my exercise!

My starting weight was 9 stone 13.8 & so I'd love to be around 9 stone......

    So if it's ok - I'll join in!:T

    afternoon all

had a very yummy and :money: lunch today!
had some l/o quorn mince from making pasta bake earlier this week so saved it back and decided to have some of it for lunch today. had a packet of fajita spice mix in the cupboard that I got on a 3 for 2 a few months ago, with a coupon in conjunction. (So basically the spice was free!)
Halved the quorn and tipped half a packet of spice mix in with each portion, and mixed it up with a little pasta sauce, and had with tortilla wraps and half a pepper. Was VERY nice and have enough left over to put it on my mealplan this week too! :D

lovely sunny weather today, so have gotten out to clean bunnies already. wont be doing much for the day otherwise, leaving outside jobs until tomorrow as our nosy neighbour is away for a week! so tomorrow if weather is good I'll wash and hoover the car before going out tomorrow night.

    have a lovely day all

    mealplan
b- 2 slices turkey and a large sliced cooked tomato sandwich (2 slices wm bread)
l - small portion of quorn mince mixed with spice, half a chopped pepper, 1 1/2 tortilla wraps, slice of bread
d - 2 x beefburgers (no bun), ww garlic bread piece, 1 x ww sausage, small salad
s- 5 large strawberries with 2 spoonfuls of nutella :o ; jelly & ice cream

Just double checking - this is 6 pounds on not 6 pounds off?

Oh yes, 6 lb on and that means 12lb to get off this session, which is really not so doable

So I shall try to get the recurrent 6lb off (again)
