Chin up. We all go through rough patches, you just have to pick yourself, dust yourself off, and decide how to start getting back into the swing of things again. Life will always get in the way of dieting!
Normally when I have had a bad week and am struggling to get back on track I think of one change I can make to get started. I usually opt for making all my snacks fruit or low fat yoghurt, then when I am comfortable with that I start to tackle something else, like portion sizes, or swapping cheese sauces for tomato based ones etc. It's the little changes that ultimately add up to the lbs off.

    Hugs for you hun xxx

I should also state that yesterday wasn't a stellar one for me!! I was workingn in the morning so my breakfast consisted of wispa bites, ginger biscuits and a slice of lemon meringue pie!

Then lunch was a sausage and pickle sandwich bought from the shop, though I couldn't finish it. Wait for it, I'm not finished....

Then for dinner last night I had roasties (6 of them!), though the pork loin chop had the fat trimmed off and cabbage is healthy....gravy and a yorky pud, not so much! Oh and then I had 3 chocolate covered hobnobs @ nearly 100 cals each....

Today needs to be much better and also include a trip to the gym me thinks, to burn off those biscuits!

Hi everyone.....(sticks her head round the door)........have you room for another one?? I'd like to join you if possible? I have gradually allowed my weight to creep up - but am determined to do something about it :j.

My aim is to lose around 13lbs:mad: I'll be doing this by trying to eat healthily (but cheaply ;)) and increasing my exercise! There is no expensive gym membership.....so any exercise needs to be free or very cheap!

Yesterday I did quite well - only really bad things I ate were 2 squares of chocolate & a bag of crisps:o. I also went for a run yesterday.......did start running last year (doing the couch to 5K programme) but stopped due to a holiday & never restarted:(. I find I need people to do it with me to help me get motivated! Am restarting properly with my normal running buddies tomorrow!

My other aim is to ensure I get my 5 a day - this is something I've never really done. Yesterday I think I achieved it with melon, grapes, banana, 2 satsumas & then onions/mushrooms in a spag Bol.

Today I intend to do a Wii Zumba workout......I find this good fun but it does get the heart pumping!:D

    Today's meal plan is:

Breakfast: branflakes with semi skim milk, melon
Lunch : whole meal sandwich with ham, salad (if I've got any :rotfl:) & cucumber. Banana, 2 satsumas.
Dinner: turkey roast dinner & veg - new pots rather than mash & maybe just one roast pot;)
Snacks: maybe a slice of fruit tea loaf (will make this later..)

I'm also planning to try & cut out sugar in my tea.....I only have a half teaspoon currently so just need to force myself to get used to it! I will also restart taking a daily vitamin.....have been feeling very worn out of late- another reason I want to look at my diet & increase my exercise!

My starting weight was 9 stone 13.8 & so I'd love to be around 9 stone......

    So if it's ok - I'll join in!:T

I managed to not control my portion sizes very well at all yesterday, and, shamefully, ate not one but FOUR chocolate mousses - only 99kcals each though, so could have easily done worse! Today has been a small breakfast to allow for pizza again at lunch (HM, of course) and then tea at OH's parents. Could be anything, unlikely to be much I like, so great for weightloss!

Realised yesterday that I'd stopped walking. I've always enjoyed walking for the sake of it, so going to root out the MP3 player and earphones and take myself for a plod on my free days, hoping to burn some calories that way, and maybe find some nice bits in my generally grotty town!

Another STS from me, I just can't seem to find the motivation to get back on track. Must try harder! Well done to all the 'losers' so to speak :-)

Just double checking - this is 6 pounds on not 6 pounds off?
