Well I have lost 6lb this week - not due to diligence and hard work but a stomach complaint that means I haven't been able to eat much since thursday.

It has tipped me below 16 st (15st 10lb to be precise) which has now given extra impetus to the losing weight. Just hope I feel better so I can start gentle exercise.

    Afternoon all

Breakfast :Luxury fruit muesli + ss milk
Lunch: Cup a soup + 2 slices bread to dip
Dinner : Roast pork, stuffing(tiny bit) new potatoes and multi veg, maybe some gravy
    Snacks: None
    Drinks: Water

Felt a bit low with only losing a bit last WI (1/2 lb) which is what I planned but I am gonna stick it out as I weighed again today and it is now -2lbs so hopefully Friday it will still be that :D Should not weigh myself every morning as it can get disheartening to say the least. In future I am gonna hold out till the weigh in and surprise myself !

    Have a lovely day

    Afternoon All,

I had a very busy day yesterday so didn't manage to post but have a few spare moments now whilst DGD has her nap. I've got a stew bubbling away for later so that I'm not cooking when she is up.

    B: Muesli with extra sultanas
L: Poached egg on toast. Raspberries with Greek yoghurt
    D: Stew and dumplings.

Exercise: About 2 miles of walking.

    Rose

ETA: Went to see Warhorse this evening so had another 1.5 miles of walking - but calorie consumption leapt as I had a Magnum in the interval!

I'm reporting a STS this week. Showed no restraint at the Chinese, both food and wine were lovely and was very sad about leaving my lovely colleagues at work. Actually had lost about 1.5lbs, but overindulging has made me STS over the week . Guess I shouldn't be too upset. Am out for a curry this week, so will try to be better. However, as I am now out of work, will have more time to be active. :)

Would love to see a 1lb loss this week to get back on track.

I've STS this week, I had actually lost a pound earlier in the week, but put it back on again . I really must try harder this week, I've hooked out my size 12 skinny jeans for inspiration.

    Morning all :)
hope everyone had a nice weekend :) I'm knackered from staying up far too late on Saturday, went to bed at 930 last night and still struggled to wake up at 7! :o

    today's meals:
    breakfast: fruit corner, clementine
Lunch: chicken and salad wrap with 1tbsp rf creme fraiche, apple, clementines, babybel
Dinner: sausages (2) and mash (made with SS milk and a tbsp rf spread), peas, bisto gravy.

exercise: probably none, I'm still coughing and the cold air sets it off. Hoping to go for a swim tomorrow though.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

I can't remember who it was, but someone lasted week posted a recipe for making risotto cakes out of leftover risotto. I did it on saturday night and it was amazing! Sorry I can't remember who it was but thank you!

I am happy to report a 1.2lb loss this week. so 6lb in total! I thought i'd had a bad week so really pleased with that.

    Have a good week everyone!
