    Morning all.

1lb loss for me, please, ragz. I'm pleased with that as I feel I've been fairly good this week but at a level I can keep up.

Having said that, I think today might not be great - I'm sitting at home waiting for a plumber to turn up (why can workmen never turn up when they say they will?) and will spend the afternoon working on an essay, which I usually accompany with some nibbling to keep my spirits up. :o

B - two slices seed bread with butter and peanut butter (naughty but I slept badly and felt the need for something tasty to try and wake myself up. It didn't work. :(); banana
L - sandwich of some sort with a mug of instant soup; apple
S - bowl of mixed dried fruit and nuts to nibble while typing
D - macaroni cheese with bacon and leeks (made with RF cheese sauce but still not the healthiest of options, but I need something to look forward to)

    Have a good day, all.
Back after a very long break!

    Morning all :)

STS this week but not disappointed as it was a 2lb loss last week and I'm only aiming for 1/2lb a week. However, Sunday (Chinatown for the day) might be my downfall for the week to come so will have to make an extra effort the rest of the time

B - F&F ss milk. Like you ragz I weighed the cereal, couldn't believe half a bowl is about 80g, and to think I used to fill it almost to the brim before I joined!
D - Jacket with yogurt in place of butter, prawns, rf cheese. SF jelly
    T - Slimsoup, 2 crackerbread 1xVegemite 1xrf Philly
Snacks - melon, satsuma, apple, grapes
Exercise - 1/2 hour pulm, several hours shopping :(

Have a good rest of the day :)
  • well today hasnt been that bad so far-

breakfast- a weight watchers blueberry biscuit
lunch- egg mayo and salad wrap, and some spicy nandos crisps
dinner will be bacon and mushroom pasta with salad.

    Afternoon all

Had lost 1lb yesterday but today feel bloated a bit so it is now registering as 1/2 lb loss, so please put me as STS for this week. Am not too dissapointed as I am looking for 1/2 lb to 1lb a week so it stays off. ;) Hopefully it will register as a bit more next WI.

Breakfast: Cheese & Bacon Bap, Latte coffee
Lunch: Quiche (cheese & onion) + beetroot, spring onions & cucumber
Dinner: Small portion of lean pork casserole done in the SC (smells lovely) made with lotsa veg
Drink: glass of pear fizz, water rest of day.

Gratz to everyone so far on the losses etc. and do not despair if you STS or went a bit mad this last week :D it happens to us all but if you put it behind you and carry on ...we WILL get there :A

Just weighed myself and 5lb loss :j

I'm sure some of this was losing fluid as AF has left the building, but I've also tried not to snack on cheese, had no cakes or biscuits, and been a bit more active - though no formal exercise yet. Did the weighing just now as feeling hungry and want to snack - had a satsuma and still hungry but now don't want to undo the good work:eek:

Well done to everyone this week. Even if you gained at least you know about it and can take action. Am now going to eat something sensible and work up the courage to book a class at the gym - not been for over a year so working up courage may take some doing:o

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Weighed myself this morning and I have managed to shift the extra holiday weight I put on and now back down to 18st 13lbs. So officially I have STS, but between you an me, I put on 4lbs through out the week and managed to shift it in the last few days. The extra 4lbs consisted of wine, dominos pizza(with low fat cheese:A) and massive portions! Anyhoo, back on it today and jumping on the exercise bike later. If I get the lbs on the scales down to single figures next week I'll be a happy bunny, so aiming for 18st 9lbs next friday :D

Just logging in to tell you all that I lost the 1lb I was hoping for this week.

I'm happy about that :) I have been really busy decorating and housework this week so not got much in the way of exercise done but obviously all the moving around and keeping ontop of things have really helped.

Food choices have been pleasing really. A few biscuits and cake treats but it's always in the back of my mind to not pig it and seems to be working a treat.

HI Fuddle, glad to see you back, I have been wondering where you got to. Well done on the loss.
Monnagran - welcoem to the thread, I have added your target to the challenge.
JBD - Plateaus are a pain in the bum! Try a different tactic, may shake things up a bit. I really found that cutting down heavy carbs helped me, or try a new exercise strategy. It will start coming off again, also you may have gained some muscle ;)

To anyone who is declaring fractions of pounds, please make sure you are keeping your own records, either in your signature or at home as I am only updating the challenge with whole pounds and I wouldn't want to get your results muddled for you :)
If I have missed anyone please let me know,

I am pleased to report I have finally lost 2lb! Off the plateau I have been on for about 6 weeks. I am sure that cutting out bread, pasta, rice and potatoes from my evening meal has made a big difference, stopped me feeling bloated. Will see how we go. I am now lightest I have been in at least 3 years :T
