I'm calorie counting for the first time, using MyNetDiary to track my progress. This has been a real revelation, previously I've followed a couple of "plans", I lost half a stone on SW a couple of years ago but that took ages and cost me a fortune. I'm amazed at how straightforward this is and how I am able to focus on what I CAN have rather than what I can't have which I hope will make it easier to stay on the wagon without those "well I've blown it now so I might as well keep eating" days!
We're having pizza tonight (not HM so very un MSE!) so I'm moderating what I'm eating today and forcing myself out for two hours of walking to balance it. Previously I'd be here on the sofa with a packet of chocolate biscuits thinking that I might as well just write the day off...
AND of course Calorie counting is cheap, no diet book to buy, no special foods, no meetings to attend!Piglet

Well done Ragz :T:T:T
Still trying to get back on track here - slowly slowly catchy monkey!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Late in posting this week, but did weigh myself yesterday, happy to report a 1lb loss. Tired and hung over today so not particularly behaving on the food front so will have to make a concerted effort for the rest of the week0

Well done losers!
Absolutely furious with myself. After being really sensible yesterday today has been hellish for all sorts of reasons. Don't think I ate one meal but on the hoof managed to stuff a variety of choc chip muffins, Kitkats, toast and marmalade, cream crackers(with butter).... sackcloth and ashes, but heigh ho, it's a fresh start tomorrow.I believe that friends are quiet angels

A bit of careful planning and I almost managed to stay within allowed calories for the first time on a Sunday. :T Means I had to forgo the roast dinner though and just scupered by my having no willpower to resist a bag of crisps.
Brunch: Egg, grilled bacon, tinned tomatoes and toast
Dinner: Boiled bacon, new potatoes, beetroot and corn on the cob.
Snacks: 2 Shortbread biscuits (xmas remains now gone) and one itty bitty little mutipack of low fat crisps.
In my defence I ordinarily would eat a packet of crisps everyday and I have not had any for aaaaages. :rotfl:Mortgage

Just done my weigh in after avoiding temptations all week to find I've lost no weight at all. Still 13st 7lbs. Bit of a blow because I had been feeling like I had. I did barely any exercise which would have made the difference. Need to step it up if I'm going to hit my target!0
