I hope everyone is enjoying this sunny/cold weather. I am off work for 2 weeks so doing lots of jobs around the house, tidying and catching up on stuff.

I've got my 'mojo' back and am being really good. Went for an 8mile walk on Sunday and then have been for a 3 mile run today.

    B- porridge + skmd milk
    L - feta cheese salad
    T - curry + mini naan bread
    S - banana, snack a jacks, yogurt

Breakfast was an alpen light cereal bar

lunch was a yoghurt brought in from home and a small tuna and cucumber bap from the shop at the hospital

dinner is tbc as it depends what I can put togther from my bare cupbaords (why did I arrange for the shopping to arrive between 8 and 10pm?!)

snacks so far have just been a bounty chocolate from a box of celebrations open on the ward.

I also have a treat size flake (75 calories) in my work bag for if I'm having a bad day and need emergency chocolate! Haven't needed it today, but who knows what tomorrow will bring?!

    Hi All

I am sorry that I haven't been on for a few days.. It seems like ages :) I went visiting my family over the weekend and bought 2 boxes of Border Biscuits (instead of Easter Eggs) ... I planned to hand them over but :( I didn't .... so on the drive home, we popped into my son's and handed him over one of the boxes.. We suggested he opened it and before you know it, I had eaten 3 of them.. These biscuits are absolutely beautiful so I left before I managed to hoover up the whole box !!!

But I went home knowing that I had another box in the boot... What is there to do ????? so I insisted that they went up on top of the wardrobe as well.. It just goes to show how it is sooooo easy to fall back into bad habits and munch your way into oblivion and put all the weight back on.. :)

Let that be a lesson to me :A

    Hi Daisyegg,

I hope you have a fabulous time in Mexico... You deserve it !!!!

    Hi Ellie99

Do you know that you can throw chocolate down the garden and, if it is Toblerone (especially the white stuff) it is big enough to find the next day !!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi Sparrer

Glad to see that you are getting out and about socialising..

    Hi Theatregirl

I hope you painting is going well...

and hello to every one else.. :) It's amazing what gaining an hour of extra light does to a person's wellbeing :j:j:j

I'll pop in again soon.... I am so excited I am waiting on an embroidery machine coming from America... I am following the tracking as we speak... It's gone across America to Los Angeles and it is now in Customs in Great Britain ... I think it will arrive before the kickdown adapter does and that is just coming from a few hundred miles away. :D

Learning how to use it will keep the munchies away !!!!

PS Hello Mrs Dragon, I've fell off the wagon a wee bit so I am so glad there is not a weigh-in this week !!!

Sounds like you've tried it officeguru :rotfl:Have to say it's never occurred to me to throw my chocolate down the garden :rotfl:
Ooh, border biscuits...I've had those before, they were very nice! How much have you got on top of that wardrobe? :rotfl:

Is there not a weigh in this week? I stopped snacking yesterday in a bit of a panic that Fridays weigh in was getting close!
A few days snacking on cake, and I'm finding it VERY difficult to stop again...I have a constant urge to eat even though I'm not really hungry...I can actually feel the "urge" in my mouth.

If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?

  • I thought there must be a weigh in this week...I was getting worried myself reading and lurking earlier in the evening.

Painting update: did two walls + four windows today. 1 more wall and 1 more window tomorrow plus tidying up jobs. :) Definitely think I've earned my treats today! :o

I thought there wasn't a weigh-in due to the next challenge not starting for a fortnight .... or did I dream all that ???

Ohhhh.... I don't believe I will have lost weight then...

    Hi Welshwoofer,

I'm sorry I forgot to say hello... but I don't feel as cheery now that there is a weigh-in in a couple of days and there is not a lot I can do about it !!!
