Good afternoon everyone.
Sparrer I think I'm quite happy we can't see through each other's windows otherwise you'd all be able to see the strange dancing I do as I clean.
Theatregirl, a date! How exciting. We want to know all the gossip. I'm sure you'll find something to wear that looks fabulous.
Well day one of the holidays is going quite well. I woke up this morning and had coffee and breakfast on my balcony in the sunshine. It was freezing though. Then I went to the supermarket, had a run and made lunch. I spent the afternoon doing some sewing and in a bit I will go for a swim. I'm being pretty good at not snacking apart from on raisins. Must try not to eat so many, it's getting stupid and I'm only doing it out of boredom.
b. oats soaked in milk with grated apple, sultanas and cinnamon.
l. courgette, spinach and red onion salad with cottage cheese and walnuts. ns yoghurt.
d. hm vegetable soup (was lacking inspiration when shopping today)
s. sultanas and a small Milka bunny (20g) This was leftover from sending Easter gifts.
e. week 9 run 1 (30 minutes! I did it!!!!) 1 hour swim.0 -
Afternoon all, bit a bit MIA with work (yea gads above you would think the end of the world was upon us with the office being closed for a whole 2 extra days on top of the weekend - most peeps seem to have departed company from their senses!)
Been so so so good this week even last night when I had a glass of wine I was within bounds of calories. However the weekend approaches and there will be wine. No chocolate aside for that which is presents but I know it will set me back a week or two. Never mind we live but once.Start info Dec11

We do indeed Missrlr and and it is Easter after all. We've got another 9 months until there'll be as much temptation hanging around again.0 -

I like your thinking emmaneni
and sounds like the first day of your holiday has gone well.
I forced myself to walk to the shops today, it was still freezing cold, but at least the pavements are clear of snow now, so no excuse...I think it did me good to get out in the fresh air.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -
Because of the amount I have to lose it's only right I go for 4lb per week, usually in 2 weeks I would lose a stone then it slows down.
Not because I starve myself but because I retain loads of fluid and am classed as morbidly obese.
B - Fruit and fiber with sweetner and semi skimmed milk
L - Vegetable soup with 4 slices of wholegrain bread (small slices)
D - Tuna pasta bake
S - Banana, mugshot and need to get some more bits
E - Shall have to see lol
I am also morbidly obese and a NHS dietician recommended I try to lose no more than half a pound to two pounds a week, any more cannot be sustain AND you can do more harm than good by losing too quickly - just sayingDo not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Think a bit of fresh air works all sorts of magic. Unfortunately now the snow is over the rain is coming...
Dragon I agree that slowly and surely is the best way in my opinion. We didn't get overweight overnight after all. I thought 14lb in 13 weeks was maybe a bit over the top for me. But the end of June is the big change in my life. I've been losing weight since September (very slowly) and this will hopefully be my final push. Fingers crossed for this challenge though first!0 -
