Oh my goodness gracious me. Thank you so much, you are all such lovely ladies. I love coming here to post everyday, well nearly everday. You have given me a great boost today. Thank you, you're all magic.
Theatregirl, hugs!
In the deep, that's way too much to try and lose!
Officeguru you remind me of my dear dad. Just remember that although your kids are busy they love you dearly and are always thinking about you. You are not alone, you have all of us.
Another weird eating day.
b. ls breakfast biscuits.
l. same as yesterday
d. oats with grated apple and sultanas (supposed to be breakfast)
s. ns yoghurt and 3 oaty biscuits
e. none!! first time in weeks (I forgot to post 1 hour swim yesterday) It finally stopped snowing today after 4 days non stop but there was too much on the pavements to run. I was just going for my swim when my dad phoned and it was too late after our 45 minute conversation as the pool closed in 30 minutes.
Thank you again.0 -

It's lucky we've all got each other Dragon!
It does suck being disabled. I am, at the moment very lucky after health problems a few years ago where I was housebound for a year. One of the reasons I have started to take my health seriously recently is because of my dad. He lost his sight because of diabetes and since then he had to stop working and like Officeguru and yourself is stuck at home alone now. My brother has also developed diabetes. I want to prevent/delay it for as long as possible. My dad fell very ill over Christmas and it finally hit me that I need to take control.
I need to sleep now, just because it's a holiday I'm not going to lie in bed all day. Will be back though tomorrow! Night all.0 -

Hi Mrs Dragon,
I think there are quite a few of us in the same boat.. and there might be a few young mothers, who don't have adult conversation from one day to the next...
But never mind, if things were different, you might not have been involved in this challenge, I wouldn't be in it and I wouldn't have lost 22 lbs so far this year !!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Last year, I sold my car as it didn't move an inch in 9 months but this year, I am maybe getting out for a couple of hours at the weekend.. (Thanks to cabbage juice) .. Hence visiting Wetherspoons on a Saturday morning !!! This is so that I am among people for a little while..
Anyway, I am sitting here feeling a bit guilty of the fact that I had forgotten about my beloved !!!
Take care, and keep up all you good work.. :A0 -

And me too .....I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Morning all, hope everyone is feeling positive for tomorrow's weigh in (except me but then I've eaten three hot x buns since last night
)
B - Hot X bun with rf spread as I've run out of porridge. Terrible excuse!
L - chicken & mayo sandwich with 2 slices Danish
D - Chicken & veg casserole, couscous
S - Satsuma, grapes, melon, nana, hot x bun with rf spread
E - 1 x 10 mins done, aiming for another 3
It's not really surprising so many of us live on our own, just we don't know because we can't see each other through 'windows'. Just as well, sometimes it takes a while for my body to fit into the wrinkly-bag first thing in the morning!
Happy Maundy Thursday, have a sunny day0 -
Because of the amount I have to lose it's only right I go for 4lb per week, usually in 2 weeks I would lose a stone then it slows down.
Not because I starve myself but because I retain loads of fluid and am classed as morbidly obese.
B - Fruit and fiber with sweetner and semi skimmed milk
L - Vegetable soup with 4 slices of wholegrain bread (small slices)
D - Tuna pasta bake
S - Banana, mugshot and need to get some more bits

afternoon all
what did I do today...well I swore off chocolate for 13 hours (ie: overnight and all of this morning) and then I went and baked a chocolate cake this afternoon.
In even better news, I havent told anyone this, but I've actually got a date on Saturday! I went and arranged it and everything and then I stopped and went "what the eff am I going to weaaaaaaar?" :rotfl:
Anyhoo. Trying to be good again today.
b - golden syrup porridge
l - sub roll type sandwich with chicken and salad. small pack of crisps. aero bar
d - lasagna and salad. small piece of chocolate cake (to test its edible-ness!)0 -
theatregirl - lol at the chocolate cake! That's what I did last weekend, and discovered I just can't say no to choc cake. And that was only the trial run, tomorrow I'm making another batch for the friends I'm meeting on Saturday...at least I can't scoff them all when I'm giving them away
Good luck with your date, and good luck deciding what to wear!
