Well no chocolate today Theatregirl!
Hahaha......well after my review with my manageress I went and bought my self a double chocolate muffin! ....as she made a couple of disparaging remarks, not to do with my interview, but with my performance.
One was to do with my vertigo as I had a "episode" where I hyperventilated a little last week doing the climb up nearly 80 stairs to the upper circle. Combination stress and carrying heavy boxes. !!!!!! does she expect, really!
The other was basically about something I did over panto where I interfered and it was a slap on the wrist and a thinly veiled "keep your nose out of business that doesnt concern you when it's already been dealt with". In the example she gave me I was just trying to help (and I know I was) but she took it as interfering and that was that. *shrug* Oh well I know not to bother in future don't I?
Anyway turns out the girl who got the TL job I missed out on did this "wonderful" sales pitch about raising targets and all of such crap and the other manager in the room was sooo impressed and I'm like "wait, when did this become a sales promotion venture in an office and why wasnt it on the brief that we had to come up with new ideas?"
I'm over it. :A
Anyhoo, as mentioned, double chocolate muffin x 1 was all I consumed extra yesterday.
Today's forecast:
b- last 2 slices of hot cross bun loaf, toasted with butter. chocolate muffin.
l - h/m stirfry; made with A's steak (taking my chances!), rice noodles and veggies.
s - blue riband bar
d - DM making dinner tonight for me to have after work: parsnips, carrots, lamb chop
hagd all x0 -
Hi Dragon
I thought I had posted that I am formally requesting another challenge and hopefully, everyone will sign up for it... but I can't find the post !!!!
Anyway, to give a rundown on how I have been getting on since I started this new 'slim for life' plan of mine... where nothing is banned (except, in my case, white toblerones, and now white lion bars) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Since the second week in January, I have only eaten when I was hungry and stopped eating when I was full... (instead of finishing off the whole plateful) ... I allow myself anything as long as it was in moderation.. IE, if I wanted a glass of wine, I had it... If I have pasta, I have cheese on top .... I also decided that if I had bread with the soup, I didn't have potatoes that day and vice versa... I also eat off a smaller plate as the dinner plates now-a-days are huge... I stopped eating sandwiches, unless it was in place of a meal and because I have done this, I hardly eat any butter or sandwich fillings (mayonnaise and the like)
I would like to also add that I don't have anything in the house that I could get wellied into :A (Except the Christmas choccies on top of the wardrobe)
Today, I weighed myself in the Biggest Loser (I can't change the day) and to date, I have lost 10 kilos, which equates to 22 lbs.. :j:j:j I am not saying this to prove anything, I am writing this to say that, so far, it is working... I have a long, long way to go... One stone at a time.... :j:j:j I could lose it more quickly but, unfortunately, due to my illness, I cannot eat green salads, almost all vegetables, no roughage of any kind... but if someone likes salads etc, I think the weight would drop of even quicker, although for me, I am trying to find an eating plan that I can stick to for the rest of my life... :A
Neither do I think I could do this without the support of this group as I know I can come on here and get help and advice from anyone of you if I ask for it...and I also get a good laugh as well...
So, come on everyone, let's get another challenge going after Easter so that I can lose another stone !!!:beer:0 -
Morning all, lovely sunshine (but bitterly cold so will admire it from indoors)
B - spicy fruity porridge, sk milk
L - Aynsley's pea soup, chicken & mayo sandwich with 2 slices Danish.
D - pork loin, sautee'd cabbage, hm gravy
S - satsuma, apple, plum, 1/2 nana
E - 3x10 mins plus lounge got a wash down, polish & hoover
Have a good rest of the day0 -
Josslette...you shouldn't have told officeguru about white lion bars :rotfl:...now we know about white lion bars and caramelized biscuits...TMI :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
officeguru...you are doing GREAT...and without any fad diets, just sensible eating, with good quality food. That's what I'm aiming for...something I keep up long term...at the moment it seems to be being quite careful Monday to Friday, and relaxing a bit at the weekend.
I'm definitely in for the next challenge, it's been a huge help being here, still trying to decide how many pounds I'm going to aim for.
If you could live one day of your life over again, which day would you choose?0 -

Hello everyone:)
you're all doing so well. I feel like I'm letting the side down. Had a spur of the moment week away last week, so a week of very nice hotel food. Too embarrassed to admit the result on the scales when I got back:eek: For the rest of this challenge I think I'd better just aim to finish back where I started, and then join the new challenge (please - if you'll have me back).
On the plus side, my fatigue is improving, and spring always makes me feel better, so I actually feel like doing some exercise.
Food today so far:
Salad: mixed leaves, 6 baby plum tomatoes, 4 queen olives stuffed with garlic, 2 slices of turkey
1 biscuit
1 hx bun
Slept in and missed breakfast
Good luck for weigh ins tomorrow.
