    Hi Dragon

I thought I had posted that I am formally requesting another challenge and hopefully, everyone will sign up for it... but I can't find the post !!!!

Anyway, to give a rundown on how I have been getting on since I started this new 'slim for life' plan of mine... where nothing is banned (except, in my case, white toblerones, and now white lion bars) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Since the second week in January, I have only eaten when I was hungry and stopped eating when I was full... (instead of finishing off the whole plateful) ... I allow myself anything as long as it was in moderation.. IE, if I wanted a glass of wine, I had it... If I have pasta, I have cheese on top .... I also decided that if I had bread with the soup, I didn't have potatoes that day and vice versa... I also eat off a smaller plate as the dinner plates now-a-days are huge... I stopped eating sandwiches, unless it was in place of a meal and because I have done this, I hardly eat any butter or sandwich fillings (mayonnaise and the like)

I would like to also add that I don't have anything in the house that I could get wellied into :A (Except the Christmas choccies on top of the wardrobe) :)

Today, I weighed myself in the Biggest Loser (I can't change the day) and to date, I have lost 10 kilos, which equates to 22 lbs.. :j:j:j I am not saying this to prove anything, I am writing this to say that, so far, it is working... I have a long, long way to go... One stone at a time.... :j:j:j I could lose it more quickly but, unfortunately, due to my illness, I cannot eat green salads, almost all vegetables, no roughage of any kind... but if someone likes salads etc, I think the weight would drop of even quicker, although for me, I am trying to find an eating plan that I can stick to for the rest of my life... :A

Neither do I think I could do this without the support of this group as I know I can come on here and get help and advice from anyone of you if I ask for it...and I also get a good laugh as well...

So, come on everyone, let's get another challenge going after Easter so that I can lose another stone !!!

Officeguru I think we our approaches are very similar. I measured myself at the beginning of January as didn't have any scales. I think I will do it again this week and see how it's going.

Dragon I have decided that's what I've decided to do it, so need to come up with an excuse! Am totally up for another challenge too. I've got 7 weeks until the dreaded school trip to an aqua park. Don't want lots of fat pictures of me in a swimming costume put up on facebook by my students!

    b. ns muesli bar, ns yoghurt and banana
    l. same as yesterday
    d. same as yesterday
    s. 2nd banana and 2 tbsp raisins
    e. 1 set of NMTZ circuits, 1 hour swim.

Now ten minutes of yoga to try and sleep.

    Night all.

Lost another 1lb so happy with that.

I would like to take part in the next challenge too please.
Although I haven't yet got to my 10lb goal I've lost more than I've gained so would like to keep going!

    STS again

I think I'd better just give up - I am so disheartened. I have tried hard this week but just seem to be getting no where

Not sure if I should sign up for the next challenge - I'm not doing the group figures much good!

I want to do the new challenge please! I will also probably be posting five million times a day when I am back from honeymoon and suddenly have loads of time on my hands!

I think I will put myself down for 15lbs in the new challenge. One can dream...

    Hi Everyone

Thankfully I’ve got my mojo back and feeling a lot more positive - despite the fact that it’s been snowing again. Laziness and bad habits have been kicked into touch – I’ve been planning meals and exercising again.

MFP kept telling me that I wasn’t eating enough , so I amended the plan and stuck to it religiously. Perhaps my stomach had shrunk but I found the meals really filling and some days struggled to eat everything on the plate but an expression my mother was often heard to say (“you’ll sit there till you eat that”) kept repeating in my head.

Anyway the good news - I managed a 1lb loss this week :j – I’ve also checked the nhs height/weight chart again and I am now bang smack in the middle of the healthy range so I’m thinking although I haven’t quite reached the target I set myself I’m going to focus less on my food intake and more on my exercise routine, perhaps that will do more to sort out my “jelly belly” than losing a couple of pounds :D

I will be around for the final weigh-in next week though – who knows thinking less about food may work wonders!!

Oh, meant to add I think STS Dragon though I haven't really weighed myself (in case anyone is confused, I am at the stage of trying to STS now until after my wedding as my dress can't be adjusted anymore!) At one point mid week I weighed and looked like I had lost 1lb but I think STS is probably more accurate.
