Hi, Dragon,
According to the Wii Biggest Loser, I have lost a total of 10 kilos or 22 lbs to date... so I think that's 1.6 lbs...
I would also like to you put me down for 2 lbs per week for the next challenge, (less 4 lbs in total for weeks that I might stay the same... )..
I know that's a bit hopeful, but I could munch at toblerone and the new white chocolate lion bar and still lose 1 lb a week and I don't want to do that !!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
STS again
I think I'd better just give up - I am so disheartened. I have tried hard this week but just seem to be getting no where
Not sure if I should sign up for the next challenge - I'm not doing the group figures much good!
Sezzagirl, I was like that for weeks and weeks and began to get so confused about everything I was reading. Although I have never really been into counting calories and weighing food, I went on mfp and it appears I wasn't eating enough - especially protein.
It was a bit of a revelation to me - it might be something worth checking out.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61
July - Grocery spends = £119.54
Aug - Grocery spends = £87.350 -
Hi everyone.
Happy to report a 1lb loss this week.:j:j Dragon can I join the next challenge please. I would like to try for 7lbs because I will be late starting as we are away on holiday in 2 weeks time.
Well done to everyone who has lost or STS this week0 -
Too much bread again today and yesterday, but have cut down elsewhere, so probably still doing ok. Last time I had to lose weight it was so much easier, portion sizes just went from ginormous to normal, and the 3 stone just fell off! I did also have time to get to a gym then though...
For the next challenge I'd like to go for 10lb, hoping to do 1lb a week, but allowing for three weeks of not (plus 10 is a lovely round number and it makes me happy!) what I really need to do is get back into the habit of exercise. Telling you here so I have something to motivate me. Still not starting today though, and it will only be Wii fit most of the time, something though!0 -

Hi Sezzagirl,
Please don't give up... If you enjoy coming onto the forum, carry on doing it... It doesn't matter about the group figures.. Listen, I have been trying for almost 50 years to lose weight and I hope, at last, I am finally managing it... I have yoyoed up and down and I think I was my correct weight for a nano second of my life... but this time, I am going to do it...
and so will you :beer:0 -

managed to make h/m bread today though for the first time ever! :j was something that kept me occupied this evening. will probably only make once in a while though, but was gawd-jus, and DM enjoyed it too!Think she was pleasantly surprised I'd mastered something she never learned to do.

s - after eight mints x 6
l - half a portion of stirfry (felt sick from migraine, couldnt finish it)
s - h/m slices of bread x 2

That's it! Your last paragraph really hits home a point with me, thank you.
Sorry didn't post last night, was very sleepy.
I've got a 2lb loss this week to report. I seem to be losing this every other week. I think because my scales only weigh in 2lb intervals, so I want to be sure I've lost before I report. This works out at a pound a week and this is due to the staff room danger zone. I did manage to say no yesterday and my excuse was that I'd already had cake for breakfast! (I hadn't!!!!!!)
So for yesterday
b. rs breakfast biscuits, yoghurt, banana
l. too many blue crisps. I couldn't resist these. Veg soup
d. veg soup
s. ns jelly, tbsp raisins.
e. 1 hour swim.
Plan for today.
b. 1 serving of oats soaked with 1 tbsp sultanas, half a grated apple, 75g nat yoghurt and water.
l. couscous salad with smoked peppered mackerel and orange.
d. veg soup.
e. 1 hour swim, week 8 run 3.0 -

I hope you are feeling better today Theatregirl and congratulations on your newly found bread making skills.0 -
Morning all!
Just weighed and I've somehow lost 1 lb.
Haven't exactly been an angel this week so I'm very pleased.
Just trying to decide what exercise to do today - will be indoors other than dogwalking, its not nice out there.0 -
I have put on 2lb, no chance of me hitting target now. Am very disappointed with self, had good talking to self last week, but obviously not listening.
This week I have been housebound as ds has chicken pox, I find it so much easier to eat healthier when I am at work
Feel like I have let the group down, but would really like to join the next challange?'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess
